Seven

     "Who are you?" Angelica is asking Steven with a hint of admiration in her eyes. 

Owen is nervous right now. Did they heard what they were talking about? He doesn't notice that Steven is actually staring at him at this moment. Maybe the guy read what is on his mind and suddenly grabbed his hands before answering the question of Angelica. 

   "I'm Steven, Owen's friend and his dance partner." Steven smiled but didn't even reach his eyes. 

   "Wen-wen, Leon and I want to invite you to buy some snacks. Wanna come?" Angelica didn't give her attention to what Steven said and directly ask him instead. 

After 8 years of being away to each other, Owen noticed that Angelica is now acting so different. Is it because she was living on the US? Perhaps that's it. He glanced at Leon, the guy is not looking at him but looking at Angelica. Owen can't take it anymore so he answered, 

     "I'm sorry I can't, I already accepted Steven's invitation before you guys arrived. So maybe next time?" 

This time, he finally got Leon's attention. He is now staring at him with so many questions on his eyes. 

    "Is that so?" Angelica feels dejected but Owen's doesn't care. 

    "En" he said while nodding. 

    "Alright then, Let's go Leon." Angelica pulls Leon hands and started walking away. 

He saw the hint of anger on Leon's eyes and he is absolutely sure that it's for him. But facing Leon's anger is better than experiencing pain while he is with them so it's better to be like this. 

    "Are you okay?" Steven asking him when he noticed the sadness in his eyes. 

    "Yeah, don't worry I'll be okay." He said while standing up. "The room that you mentioned a while ago, is it really available?" He continued. 

Steven also standing up when he answered him. 

    "Yes. Just tell me if you wanna move in already."  

    "En. I'll call you maybe tomorrow or later if necessary." 

    "Owen..." Steven called his name. So he stopped walking. 

    "What?" He turned his head to ask him back. 

    "Concealing feelings is more difficult than forgetting someone, don't you know?" 

Owen paused for a second. Then he continue his walking. 

     "But I think, Focusing yourself with other things may help you to forget those feelings." He said. 

Steven didn't utter a words. He just following Owen and later on, he also grabbed his hands and they walk shoulder with shoulder.

They went to the near store in front of school gate and buy some snacks that they will be needed later while practicing. 

    "I guess this is enough." Steven said. He is holding a basket full of snacks. 

    "En. .. Guess so." He said. 

They go to the cashier lines and waiting for their turns. Since there's a lot of students buying too, Owen started playing with his phone. 

    "What do you think is perfect for us to wear for our performance? Steven interrupted him in his playing. 

    " I've no idea so far." He answered. 

Steven didn't speak again but continue thinking. Owen's phone suddenly vibrated and a message popped up. 

      Leon: Be home early today, Angelica invited us to eat dinner with her tonight. 

He sighs after reading it. He then started to type for a reply. 

    Owen: I can't. Leon, you said you like Angelica right?

    Leon: Why? 

    Owen: Don't you think it is a perfect time for you to spend it with her?

    Leon: Are you still mad at me because I bite you last night? I'm sorry. 

    Owen: I'm not mad at you. 

    Leon: Then? 

    Owen: Then what?

    Leon: Just be home early. 

    Owen: Leon, I'm going to move out maybe tomorrow. 

After that message, Owen didn't receive a reply from Leon. Steven also finished paying the bills so they went back to school. Steven accompany him until he reached his class room and he left after assuring that he is already inside. 

      "Ugh!" Owen close his eyes while leaning his back to his chair when his hands suddenly grabbed by someone. It's Leon. 

      "Follow me." He looks so fierce and very angry. 

     "What's going on? Where's Angie?" He asked while following him. 

Leon didn't answer him.. He didn't even look back when Angelica calls him. 

     "Did you two fight?" He asked again. 

Leon brought him behind the school building and pinned him to the wall. 

     "Ugh!" It's Owen. The heavy impact of his back is really painful. 

He look at Leon and saw him a little bit worried about him too. 

     "It's hurt?" He asked with a low voice. Leon even touched his back that makes Owen flinched. 

Owen nodded and said.. "What's your problem dude?" 

Leon didn't answer first but put his forehead into his and asked him with eyes close. 

    "What did I do wrong for you to decide to move out?" He asked. 

Owen gulped and clenched his fists. He thinks that it is the perfect time for him to tell the truth. So he prepared himself before answering.. 

     "I'm gay, and you hate gay. That's why I'm leaving."
