Chapter 34. The game begins

Linda POV

Linda's heart raced as she read Julian's text again. She knew she shouldn't be tempted, but a part of her was drawn to the promise of passion and desire.

"Think about what I said, Linda. You deserve passion, desire, and intimacy. I can give you that. And so much more."

She felt a flutter in her chest, her mind racing with the possibilities. But she knew she couldn't betray Connor's trust, no matter how empty their relationship felt.

Meanwhile, Connor was oblivious to the secrets and lies that surrounded him. He was focused on his business, determined to succeed at any cost.

"Linda, I'll be working late tonight," he said, barely looking up from his phone. "Don't wait up for me."

Linda nodded, feeling a pang of loneliness. But she knew she had to keep her priorities straight.

As the day went on, Linda found herself thinking about Julian's words. She couldn't deny the spark that had ignited between them. And then, her phone buzzed again. Another text from Julian.

"Meet me at th
