Chapter 14. Sorcery Village

Sebastian POV

My eyes were weary and heavy as I laid down on the bed, trying to recall where I was and what happened.

The sound of someone crying broke into my thoughts and my head banged. I tried to force myself to open my eyes as I could sense that it was Ember crying but I couldn't.

My heart was burning from the black magic in me and I could feel that it was more than I can handle.

The sound of someone sobbing again distracted me and I opened my eyes. She was there, next to me, her head bent as she sobbed into her hands.

I smiled and lifted my hands up to her hair.

"Hey, why are you crying?" I asked and she immediately lifted her head up in surprise.

I smiled at her, trying to calm her down but she sobbed again as she stared at me. Iy made me wonder how long I've been unconscious and what exactly happened to me.

"You...how come?" She asked, stuttering.
