Jenny P.O.V
There is not a single thing capable of making me happy now. I stand amidst utter chaos, even crying would be pointless in this situation. How will I save myself from the clutches of Dragon?
He rejected me and left behind a body without a soul. Yes, I rejected him first, but the thought that your mate rejected you and threw you away like a pile of trash is painful. Even more painful is that my mate is my sister's future husband.
I caught my breath, dusted off my dress, and prepared to return home, where I could talk to Olivia about everything that happened.
Angry as a bull, I headed straight to Olivia's room. I wanted revenge and to understand why all this hatred? Meanwhile, Olivia was in good condition, she had won the lottery. Yes, in the end, her plan against me succeeded.
She was sitting on her bed after taking a cold bath, applying nail polish to her toenails. I stormed in, shouting angrily, my eyes brimming with tears, "You, Olivia, you wretch!"
Olivia looked at my miserable state with half an eye—my torn clothes, swollen eyes, and my neck exposed from behind the scarf with scattered kisses, and then my legs, clearly showing I had been a captive to some man. She smiled, knowing someone had skillfully caught me.
Olivia did not respond, just smiling coldly at my gaze until I shouted again, my eyes welling with tears, "You planned to bring me down. Why do you always try to humiliate me? I am your sister; enough of this hatred!"
Olivia rose from her bed and approached me, then said with a mocking laugh, "I pity you, Jenny. You possess beauty, but you are foolish and stupid."
Olivia continued, her malice growing, "My plan to expel you from this pack succeeded, Jenny. Now, Father won't stand against me with a whore like you; he won't love you more anymore."
Tears fell for what I had come to. This house was never a home for me from the beginning; no one loved me except my father, who is everything to me. I gathered my strength, then pulled Olivia's hair and slapped her hard, warning her threateningly, "Don't think I'm easy, Olivia. For what you did to me, I will know how to get revenge, and I will make Father know your ugly and filthy truth."
Olivia was shocked, the slap left a mark on her cheek, its sound resonating. Olivia was furious at my innocent and pure reaction, shouting sarcastically, "We'll see now, Jenny! Your end is near, little one."
"Whore and filthy," I repeated, looking at Olivia with disgust.
The voice of Olivia's mother (Luna of the pack), Mrs. Emma, came coldly, "You are the whore. Look at yourself, who here is the lowly and despicable one!"
I felt anger blaze in my heart. "Shut up, don't open that mouth. You are truly vile and deserve pity."
Olivia cried fake tears and went towards Mrs. Emma, saying in a choked voice, "Look, Mother, she barged into my room, pulled my hair, slapped me, and now she threatens me."
She cried a lot, and I looked on mockingly, but Olivia continued, "She threatens me if I tell Father what she did. Mother, she was with men yesterday, shamelessly having sex. Look how she comes home as if nothing happened."
Mrs. Emma approached me with firm steps, grabbed my hair tightly, and slapped me across the face, causing me to fall to the ground, bleeding from the corner of my mouth, "Since when do you dare stand before me, and even slap my daughter and stand against us?"
I stood up slowly, my eyes bloodshot, "From today."
Then Emma spat at me and looked at me with disgust and glee: "It seems that you finally fell into the hands of another man, losing your so-called virginity. You're a pile of garbage, Jenny!"
Tears fell hotly from my eyes as I looked at her in pain: "Why such cruelty? Why do you hate me so much?"
Her mother laughed bitterly: "My husband should never have remarried, he shouldn't have brought a hypocrite like you into our lives, Jenny."
For the first time, I screamed, my voice tearing through the silence: "Why this cruelty? What is the reason and motivation for all of you to hate me so much?"
"Because your whore of a mother made my husband betray me and brought you into this world. You've taken all the rights of my daughter Olivia," Mrs. Emma replied angrily.
"Whore, filthy, after she gave birth to you, she left you and departed, making your father take care of you with us," Mrs. Emma said in a domineering and condescending tone, looking at me with clear revenge in her eyes.
"What is going on here?" My father, Alpha Anderson, yelled as he entered, his voice resonating from his office.
His wife gave him a gloating look and said, "Why don't you ask your favorite daughter where she was last night?"
He looked at me, my appearance telling him exactly where I'd been!
"Dad, listen, you need to know the truth about how they conspired against me, the wife and her daughter!" I spoke between sobs, trying to justify myself.
Mrs. Emma turned red with rage and shouted, "What did my daughter do, you whore! You're just like your mother!"
My father, Anderson, spoke with disappointment: "Stop, Jenny! I see what is happening now and how I trusted you!"
"Dad, please listen to what happened!" I pleaded, sobbing.
Anderson slapped me hard, saying, "Shut up, I've spoiled you too much at the expense of your older sister, and now you resent her and are jealous of her!"
"She resents me, she conspires against me, Olivia only exploits being the elder," I justified again, showing signs of pain and pallor.
My father slapped me again, repeating angrily: "Olivia always told me I was spoiling you, but I didn't realize how rude you'd become, to the point of sleeping with men you don't know."
I fell to the ground after the slap, unable to believe my father would distrust me and believe everything they fabricated about me, hurting me like this without understanding.
Blood dripped from my mouth and tears streamed down: "Enough! I am not a dog you can control. You didn't even listen to me! See how they set a trap for me, they are the ones who hate and conspire against me. I have always been a loyal wolf to the pack and family, father."
Olivia spoke pityingly: "How dare you raise your voice to your father!" Then she continued, feigning sorrow: "Deny that you didn't sleep with a man you didn't know! Deny it, Jenny, that you lost your virginity and had sex last night."
Olivia knew how to exploit the situation and trap me in a vicious circle, ensuring I'd lose, and my father would abandon me, making my life a beggar's existence in the woods with the rogues.
"I've been patient for so long, and today you slap me without listening to me or giving me a chance to tell you what happened?" I cried, feeling betrayed, my eyes drying of tears.
"From today, you do not belong to my family, Jenny, and the Anderson name no longer ties you to us!" Alpha Anderson declared with difficulty.
"Do you think this is my family, father? I am just a stray, cleaning and obeying, saying 'yes' without dissent. I was here because I thought you loved me and would stand by me." I scoffed painfully at his sudden words.
I was beside Olivia's bed, but I felt like I was about to fall, so I leaned on it. My strength collapsed, everything in me shattered, I was no longer as I was.
"You are not my daughter, you are not the pure Jenny who follows the pack's laws and maintains her status as an Alpha's daughter," Anderson said with a sense of lost hope and intense hatred.
"Make her leave, Anderson. Make her pay for her mistake as well. After all she has done, now she stands before you and raises her voice," Mrs. Anderson advised with great joy.
I stood before Mrs. Emma and warned her: "Enough, you, I will leave, and I don't want to be a part of this family, nor am I honored to be. I will leave the pack forever."
Anderson picked up the whip beside him, knowing what he would do and how to act, but I held it and stood before him: "I would have accepted this beating if you were my father, but now you are a stranger."
He looked at me hesitantly, then dropped the whip from his hand silently. I left the room feeling a heavy burden on my heart, realizing I no longer had a place in this pack.
I walked into the open air, feeling as if the whole world was against me. I had nowhere to go, but I would not give up. I would find my way and seek revenge on all who wronged me. I would make sure they felt the pain I did and regret every moment they hurt me.
Dragon P.O.VIt's not just about being rejected by my mate. It's not just that which made me lash out, slap her, and threaten her, but the look of hatred I saw in her eyes that made something inside me boil.Perhaps I handled the situation poorly. I should have understood her fear, knowing that I would be her sister's husband, but that doesn't mean she should reject and hate me.After leaving her in the middle of the forest at the clearing, I decided to learn more about her. Who is Jenny? Despite my good knowledge of Alpha Anderson, I knew nothing about Jenny, only that she is the Luna of the pack, the Alpha, and their daughter Olivia. Everything seemed normal to me until my assistant came to me with news about Jenny. She is a hybrid daughter of a vampire, abandoned by her mother, and raised in the pack away from her.The pack's Luna still resents Jenny for a crime she didn't commit, and this made me feel a bit guilty. I might treat her poorly, but no one can hurt my mate.I understan
Jenny P.O.VI decided to start my life anew after a series of painful events I had endured. After losing everything and distancing myself from my friends and family, I found myself looking for a job in a new city where I knew no one. I had to leave the pack, the clans, and everything that tied me to being a werewolf. There was no choice but to turn to humans and blend in among them. The only place that accepted to hire me was a small bar in one of the city's lively neighborhoods. The bar was called "The Quiet Harbor," although the atmosphere inside was anything but quiet. The walls were adorned with old pictures and oil paintings from bygone days, while dim lights gave the place a warm and cozy feel. The scent of whiskey and tobacco filled the air, mingling with the sounds of laughter and loud conversations from the patrons.I was forced to wear the traditional work uniform for waitresses at the bar: a tight white shirt that revealed my figure, a short black skirt, and short-heeled bl
Jenny P.O.V(Seven Years Later)I had told Max about my past and the pack, that I was a werewolf. He needed to know, especially during my pregnancy when signs revealed I wasn’t human. Max accepted the truth without a word and listened to my entire story, sympathizing with me and the harsh laws imposed to restrain others. He took care of my children and was the perfect father until the moment I returned from work and saw him standing before me.It was Alpha Dragon. I remember his slap, the pain it caused me, every detail of it as I looked into his eyes. I don’t know how he found me, but his expression was filled with words."Your father is dying, Jenny!"He threw these words at me, confident that he could make me crumble. I still remember my father and long for the pack; it was my world. I almost took a step forward, trying to understand what had happened, but then I saw Max’s questioning eyes.Dragon advanced, his eyes angry upon seeing Max approaching me. He said, glaring at Max, "Yo
Jenny P.O.VMinutes passed until I arrived in front of the palace, with memories of the past flooding over me. I remembered how my father had cast me out, shaping me into who I am now because of that moment. I also remembered meeting Max, who stood by me throughout those years and helped me become one of the top businesswomen, intelligent and dependable.I opened the door, and all the memories came rushing back: my father's wife whipping me, my father’s love, and Olivia conspiring against me. Both happy and sorrowful memories flashed before my eyes.I smiled with arrogance as I glanced at my stepmother (Emma), bypassing her without a word and entering my father’s office. Emma was stunned to see me return, looking much better in neatly pressed clothes, especially compared to the tattered garments I had left the house in.I stormed into the office, approached the desk, and sat in the chair opposite my father. He looked genuinely ill and asked, “What made you remember me after all these
Jenny P.O.VI am Jenny Anderson, the youngest daughter of Alpha Anderson of the Golden Sun Pack. Our pack is known for our shining golden eyes, a mark of our loyalty and dedication, traits I inherited from my father.Tonight is a very significant night, at least for me, because tomorrow I will transform into a wolf. It's a new moon, and it will be a blood moon, red in color.I am a bit excited to meet my wolf, but deep inside, I am terrified. I am not entirely pure; I forgot to mention that I am a hybrid. My father once loved my mother despite having a Luna, and he had me with a vampire. My father never sinned, but after having me, everyone judged him and forced him to abandon his relationship with my mother. I don't know what happened afterward, as he never told me about my mother. He always avoids or ignores the question as if he never heard it. But truthfully, he loved me and tried to compensate for the absence of a mother in my life.I have lived a quiet and simple life for the pa
Genny P.O.V.I woke up to find myself naked in the arms of this stranger. The events of last night came flooding back. I had felt warmth with him, but it was quickly overshadowed by the realization that he had been waiting for someone else, and I was not the one he desired. A pang of pain struck my heart, as if a dagger had been plunged into it.I don't know what connection I have with the man before me, but there is something strange inside me that I can't explain or ignore...My hair was disheveled, and my face was pale. Tears streamed down my cheeks with burning heat. I wished I could be with him. I wanted to look at him, but I hesitated. I imagined his handsome face; his voice had truly been warm. He had treated me with such gentleness and care, as if I were a butterfly. He was tender, and I had felt a fleeting happiness with him, even if it was just for one night.I wished I were his lover, but now I remembered Olivia... her scheme. Today, I would transform, and I needed to be at
Dragon’s P.O.VI woke up, vividly recalling last night, and jolted out of bed. It must have been a joke; I shouldn’t have gotten close to someone I didn’t know. I remembered last night, but I was drunk—I shouldn’t have drunk so much.Olivia had booked my room; she would soon be my wife and the Luna of the pack. I put my hand on my face and hurried to get dressed. I needed to find out who that girl was and why she had disappeared before I could see her. Most importantly, I had to be fully dressed, as Olivia would surely be arriving soon.I shouted in frustration, trying to recall the girl’s face with angry eyes. I remembered her in my arms... I smiled again at the memories of that night. With passion, I exclaimed, "She couldn’t have been far... I need to search for her."I looked around, but she was nowhere to be found. It was as if she didn’t want me to know her; perhaps I should just forget about it and erase that night from my memory.I waited in the hotel room, sitting in a chair,
Dragon P.O.V.I had to hide until everyone left and she was alone. It took no more than ten minutes, and I was staring at her beauty, especially her mismatched eyes. She looked like a unique wolf. Her scent reached my nose, and all I could do was enjoy it... until I noticed her moving towards me. She had certainly sensed my presence; I was her mate, and she had just gotten her wolf. She stood before me in her simple white dress, her green eyes staring into mine. I smiled wildly and asked, "Why did you run away?"Her eyes widened in shock. She expected me not to recognize her. I wouldn’t have, had she not been my mate, but this was fate. She cleared her throat, scratching the back of her head and nervously fidgeting with her fingers, stammering, "But... but run away from what? I don’t understand what you mean!"I laughed more as I approached her. Her labored breathing revealed her fear, her eyes darting quickly, her heartbeat rapid and irregular. I could sense it all. I whispered in he
