Chapter 41; Admonishment

Page Uncle's chauffeur had dropped off her car in her house early that morning at around seven. Page didn't feel like driving so Rowan offered to drop her off at work. Her eyes remained focused on California's beautiful road while Rowan retreated into the comfort of his mind.

He had seen the word ‘CEO’ in front of Page's name on her file and was shocked beyond repair. She is the sole heir of her father's company? He thought. He had always thought that Page was a spoilt lady that enjoyed the benefits of having an overly wealthy grandad and also wanted to rip off him and his grandad despite being born into a rich family. He had thought she had a brother that was her grandad's heir but it turned out that she was her grandad's sole heir and had enough riches to last her a thousand years without her having to depend on any man or anyone else. She was an independent lady with amazing skills and talents. She was an embodiment of fascination.

Rowan instructed Page to stay in the car when he
