Chapter 25; undeserved reproach

Page was driving home, exhausted from a rather hectic day and longing for a relaxing, satisfactory dip in strawberry and rose scented bubbling body wash infused in warm water. Yearning for the evening's cool breeze to dance through her bouncy, long black hair, she turned off the car's air conditioner and pressed a button that made the roof of the car open.

“This feels really good," she sighed.

Her mind traveled back to the horrible trance she had and she shivered. For the record, she had always been an optimistic person, one with the stoutest of heart and detested every form of negativity, bad energy and contrariness.

That her mind could picture such a horrible event scared her, she was appalled. Thinking back to it, she decided to assume that what played out in her mind actually happened, why the hell did someone not go after such a malevolent perpetrator? She asked herself.
