Is it me or does the Christmas sermon feel longer every year? I feel I have been sitting in this pew for hours, but I am so glad it’s over and we can go home I’m starving. Getting back in the car heading home, I check the time on my new Rolex watch Dad got me for a present and see it’s one in the afternoon. I wonder what Savannah and her dad are doing for Christmas. I want to text her to see how her day is, but I don’t want to disturb this day with her and her dad.

We pull into the driveway to see another car parked outside. I don’t recognize it but surely it couldn’t be. Could it?

When getting out of the car my mind is going crazy in thought. Jen walks round to me and meets me at the trunk of the car, the both of us looking at the car in front of us.
