AUDREY

He's crazy if he thinks we're going to sleep together; I haven't even agreed to share the same room. This is a sneaky plan. I flinch a bit when I focus my attention on him. Is he undressing?

"Hey!" I reply immediately. "What on earth do you think you're doing?" I cover my eyes with both hands.

"Well, undressing, people don't shower with their clothes on," he explains as if what I'm asking is foolish.

"Yes, but not here," I free one of my hands to gesture. "That's what the bathroom is for," I'm not sure if I'm pointing correctly, but I don't care.

"That's not the bathroom door; it's the bedroom door," he corrects me.

"Well, you better go through that door instead," I firmly demand.

"Why? This is my room, so if anyone should leave, it's you."

Ah, now he's kicking me out? First, he said we should do this together if we didn't want the truth to come out, and now he's saying this. I think even he doesn't understand himself.
