Illyria's POV

“Is she okay?” I could hear Lenora talk. Her voice sounded far away. I was trying to force my eyes open, but it was not working.

“I’m not sure, Mother. We were arguing and all of a sudden she fainted in my arms,” Kieran’s voice hit my ears, and my heart swelled. 

“We should call Nicholas and Evanora,” Alaric said. Why can’t I just open my eyes?

“No. They can’t know she is not well. We will keep an eye on her and when she wakes up, we send a guard to deliver the message,” Lenora said as I felt her approach me.
