The food was delicious. They had served me some...deer? Either way, I enjoyed it. I left the tray on the table and covered it, so it was ready for the girl to pick it up.

I never asked her name, but I hoped to see her back in my room. There was an urge for me to look out that window again, and when I did, I felt a sense of peace inside of me. Like I had known this place all my life and I belonged here.
