Congratulations dear, you are officially, Mrs Lucious Mendez

Lauren Fonder was shocked to be invited to the room where Lucious Mendez was being treated. Did he have to be present, for her to sign the contract?

She swallowed hard upon seeing him again. He avoided his gaze, but he got up immediately and hugged her. "Oh Sydney, I thought you will never forgive me. When I heard you were coming here, I almost didn't believe it". He says holding her tightly". Are you okay? he asked, noticing her stiffness. Usually, she would have hugged him back, but she kept her hands behind.

"Yes I am fine". She answers. straightening her dress, before looking at the faces present. Why were there so many persons present? She wondered.

There was no need saying much Infront of Lucious. She was handed the contract, and she went through the first page, then signed it, she couldn't wait to get it over with.

"congratulations dear, you are officially, Mrs Lucious Mendez". She heard the voice of doctor Carter, and she feigned a smile. She waited to know what she is supposed to do next.

"He will be discharged tomorrow, and as his personal nurse, and his wife, you will have to go home with him". Doctor Carter reminded her. She kept swallowing hard. Words were just too hard for her to form in her mind, she couldn't believe she was doing this, it all seem like a dream.

Lucious snapped her out of her thought.

"Sydney love, when did you become a nurse, I thought you hated anything that had to do with medicine and seeing blood"? Lauren didn't know what to say, she just had to smile again. If she is going to play this part well, she is going to have to take some classes as to know what Sydney used to like, and also, what Lucious likes.

"What changed my love? He was still asking. Lauren needed help now. "I guess Lauren, I mean Sydney wants to please you. She knows you have always loved the medical profession, after all, Cynthia was into medical and you really liked her, so I guess now she wants to do something you will like". Mrs Mendez says, with a wide smile, as though she had spoken the truth.

Lauren really needed to learn a lot about Lucious. She just heard a new name. Cynthia didn't sound familiar and she never thought nor heard that The Mendez himself has another child other than Lucious. She kept her cool, watching how everything unfolds. Lucious could remember everything and everybody, how is it possible that he couldn't remember his own wife, someone he was with for years? Lauren wonders. She was going to have to find out what she was getting herself into.

While she was still watching, everyone started leaving gradually, until she was left alone with Doctor Carter, who handed her some of his medication for the day, and then left too. They didn't even give her time to think, nor act, why did they just drop it all on her? Even his parents didn't stay to give her a little support, how is she supposed to handle a psycho? She wanted to drop everything and walk away too, but she has signed a contract. She is officially bound to him by the contract, and for what it's worth, this was her job, she is passionate about what she does.

"Are you angry? He asked, and she raised a brow, wondering why she should be angry. He had said that before, she didn't understand it then, and she still didn't understand it now.

"No. I mean, why should I be angry? She asked, him in response. He got up the bed and started moving close to her, she became scared, but he wasn't even coming to her, he went to the door, and shut the door, and that was when she became really scared.

"This is a hospital Lucious, you cannot just lock the door to your room, what if there is an emergency? She asked, as she quickly drop all she was holding on the table, and is about to go get the door open, but he held her by the arm. His hold was so strong on her, that she almost screamed, but what was the point in screaming, when she is going to live for the next five years with him, and she is going to spend a room with him, it would be best, she starts getting used to it.

"You don't have to hold me so tightly Lucious, you are hurting me". She says, and as soon as he heard her say, he was hurting her, he released his hold on her.

"I knew it. I could never be wrong about you Sydney. You are angry with me. I am sorry, I have apologized to you and yet you are still angry". Lauren is confused and she looked confused, for she doesn't know what he was apologizing for.

"Why do you think I am angry? She asked.

"I know you don't like hearing about Cynthia, but she is a thing of the past now, and she is far away in California, there is no way, she could ever come between us again". He says, and Lauren thought that if that was the issue, then she isn't angry,. As a matter of fact, she needs him to cheat, so that she will have a reason to stay angry with him and in different rooms. From his apology, she could deduce that Cynthia was his ex, before he cemented his relationship with Sydney.

"Well, I am not angry. Mother just mentioned her name, as regards her profession, that's all". Lauren says, smiling at him.

"What about forgiving me for the accident. It was all my fault, if I had not asked you to give me a blow job in the car, we wouldn't have lost the baby". Lauren was shocked, she never knew that was what happened. And the fact that Lucious even know the baby was gone, is another level of insanity she needed to study. He knows and accept the baby being gone, but he refused to accept Sydney's departure.

She opened her eyes wide, and started breathing hard.

"I need to leave now". She tells him and he stepped aside to let her through. He didn't try to stop her, to him, he believes, she is still angry with him, for leading them to such disaster.

As soon as she was outside the door, he cried.

"I knew she would never forgive me for that! Lauren was still on the other side, paying attention to his cries, but she was more worried about his sexuality. He is really a sex Maniac, and that could really mean, she might be looking for a way to come out from the contract sooner than she thinks.
