Chapter 15: The secret in the ancient book.

Uri arrived at the wooden house, opened the bag, and dumped everything on the table. In addition to the golden book, there were several other precious treasures.

"How did you get them?" Finn looked at the treasures on the table in amazement.

"Just when I arrived at the museum, a group of robbers stole these treasures. I followed and took the treasure from them." Uri replied.

Finn picked up the book; it was gold, so even though it was about the size of a paper book, it was pretty heavy. "Is this the book you want?"

"That's it." Uri happily replied. "Just when I couldn't think of a way to read it, someone stole it."

"Fortunately, so let's see what's inside this book." Finn began to turn the pages.

Although the ancient script was difficult to read, Uri and Finn understood it. This book recounts the war between humans and demons three thousand years ago. Then Genesis drove the demons back to their dark world, and humans became the masters of the earth.

"This is the war between the humans and us; they call us the devil." Finn looked at the words on the golden page and was annoyed.

Uri wasn't angry; he wanted to find something completely different from his already known content. He carefully read each word, suddenly he pointed to a tiny text, exclaiming:

"Look here, does this inscription refer to a golden chest?"

Finn crouched low, peering at the letters much smaller than the others, and they were just beyond the edge of the page.

"Yes, here is a mention of a golden chest; where it is hidden is Stone Island."

"The golden chest, is it the one that holds the key to the portal that Genesis told Prince Nolan?" Uri's eyes lit up; he felt he saw hope.

"Maybe, but where is Stone Island? Since then, a long time has passed, and the names of the places have changed, certainly no longer the same as the old names." Finn said.

Uri turned to another page and carefully read each inscription; the content was not remarkable. But on the last page of the book, he saw something special.

"There's a map." He exclaimed happily.

Finn also recognized it as a map etched into the golden page, which was the book's back cover.

"There is a marked point here." Uri stared intently at the map; he pointed his finger at the spot he spotted.

Finn leaned down again and spotted a tiny letter etched next to the marked point. He exclaimed happily:

"Didn't expect this to be a map to Stone Island. It's great!"

"The island is in the sea, but exactly where it is, we need to compare with modern maps." Uri studied the simple drawings on the page; this was the old way of drawing maps.

"I don't care if this island exists, but I'll have to find it," Uri said excitedly. He saw a glimmer of hope; he didn't want to lose it.

"I'll go find it with you," Finn said eagerly. "If we find the key to the portal, we can escape the Red Leaf organization's chase, escape the miserable life in the caves like now."

Uri touched the lines engraved on the map, showing a bright smile.

"Hopefully, that is where the key to the portal is hidden. I will compare it with modern maps to find the exact location of Stone Island."

The map brought Uri and Finn joy; they happily began searching for points that coincide with modern maps to locate Rock Island.

Uri did not dare to connect to the internet because as soon as he searched for anything on the internet, the Red Leaf organization immediately discovered his location. So he could only use a map that he had downloaded to his phone long ago, but it was to no avail.

"I will ask my father and sister to bring us a large map." Uri turned off the phone, then continued looking at the ancient map.

"Then wait for your father to arrive; we'll ask him to buy a large map." Although Finn is as impatient as Uri, he waits for Clement to arrive.

Finn had just finished speaking when suddenly he stood up, ran out quickly, and jumped onto a high branch. Uri was surprised and didn't understand what was happening, but he hurriedly ran after Finn.

"What's up?" He jumped onto the branch, standing next to Finn.

"I feel like someone has entered the forest and is coming here," Finn replied and then jumped to the other branches towards the intruder.

Uri follows closely behind Finn. His senses are not as sharp as Finn's because he is not used to constantly living in danger.

When the forest intruder came into view, Uri realized it was his father.

He walked quickly in front of Clement, surprised to ask: "It's still very early; it's not even noon. Why are you here? Aren't you afraid of the Red Leaves following?"

Clement was startled to see someone suddenly appear in front of him. Recognizing Uri, he grabbed his son's hand.

"Today, the people from the Red Leaves organization who have been following me all of a sudden disappeared. I am afraid that they have discovered this place and come to arrest you."

"I haven't spotted anyone entering the area but you." Finn stepped closer, answering Clement.

"That's right, no one is here, rest assured," Uri said, taking one of Clement's arms. "Let's hurry to the chalet; I have something to show you."

Finn also took one of Clement's arms, then lifted Clement with Uri, walking like the wind back to the wooden house.

As soon as he entered the house, Clement was surprised to see the objects on the table.

He sat down in his chair, touching the very precious national treasures he had never been able to handle.

"Why are these things here?"

"I went to the national museum this morning." Uri sat down next to Clement and handed the golden book to him. "This is the second part of a book about the creator god."

Clement took the book, his hands shaking. "This is a treasure, not a fake. Did you steal these?"

"No, I don't steal." Uri quickly replied. "While Anthea and I were in the museum, a group of people stole these treasures; I just stole from those looters."

"Robbery, someone entered the museum to rob?" Clement exclaimed. "And Anthea went to the museum with you?"

"When I got there, I discovered that Anthea was also coming. But when I chased after the band of robbers, I told her to stay still in the museum and wait for the power to go home." Uri explained.

Clement frowned and said, "How did they steal these precious artifacts from the museum?"

"When Anthea and I were visiting the special gallery, suddenly the museum lost power." Uri immediately told Clement about the robbery. "The National Treasures Gallery is in the basement of the museum, so after a power outage, sunlight cannot enter. At this moment, the guards in the gallery opened the cabinet and took all the antiques. They left the museum in a car already waiting for them at the back gate."

"Didn't the other guardians notice them?" Clement asked, surprised.

Uri nodded and replied, "They didn't have a problem. It was very convenient to get out of the museum and go to an old house on the city's edge. I followed them. When they got out of the car, I stole a bag of their stuff."

Clement quickly picked up the bag that Uri had left on the table. He carefully examined the bag and found a locator chip attached to the bottom of the bag. He panicked and shouted:

"They have trapped us. Get out of here at once!"
