Jaxxon POV

I felt a part of betrayal when she turned and walked away. I knew he would be intimate with her. His entourage staying in the lower level. The Beta with his eyes on me.

‘I told you mark her, make her ours. She don’t belong to him. Take her. Now!’ Pyro demanded being restless in my head.

‘The bond has not snapped into place Pyro. She’s not ready to be claimed.’

Then instantly a sharp pain hit me in my chest. Squeezing my heart like someone was ripping it out. ‘Owwwweee’ Pyro cries in my head.

“Alpha, you alright. Do we need to leave?” Marcus asked worried.

‘You idiot. Let other man claim her.’ Pyro cries.

Did she.. was she.. no..

Then another sharp pain.

She did. She was letting him touch her.

‘Pyro, toughen up. She doesn’t know your her mate.’ Pyro growls and goes to the back of my mind and blocks me.

‘Jaxxon. Here comes your parents’ Marcus mind links.

“Honey, are you ok?” The worried look of my mother asked.

“Yes. I just have a headache out of no where thanks to Pyro.” I say trying to justify it without going into details.

“Son, if you need to leave. I’m sure the Alpha King won’t mind.” Father says like he knows something.

“No. I’m good. We’ll leave in a few. If we do, I’ll let you know.” I said trying to reassure myself.

Just then her scent hit me with a slight scent of sex to it. I turned to see her and that bastard walking down the steps with a smirk on his face looking at me.

‘Relax Alpha. Your letting your Aura out’, Marcus mind links.

‘Thanks, Marcus. It’s taking everything in me not to kill this idiot right now.’ Trying to calm my nerves. I realize my parents might have the slightest idea of what’s going on.

‘Marcus, we need to pull him to the side. I need to let him know to let Amaly go. He needs to know she’s my mate.’ I tell Marcus through the mind link and he nods knowing I’m about to lose myself in this matter.

‘Olivia, can you take Amaly for a walk. I need to take Allen to the front. I need to have a conversation with him.’ I asked my sister to get the attention of her friend before Pyro snatches her.

Being level minded and trying to calm myself. I see Olivia walking with my mate to get food.

“Alpha Allen. Can I have a word with you out front?” I asked calmly. My mom reaching for me. I put my hands on top of hers and nod, telling her I’m ok.

“Sure thing Alpha. Let’s make it quick. I don’t want these other men trying to humor my mate.” He says with sarcasm. Oh, He knows something.

We all walk. Just myself, my beta, Allen, and his beta with a few of his entourages. Some still standing to watch over my mate.

My father standing in the foyer, observing us in case something goes down. We make our way in front of the water fountain. A cement wolf goddess statue with hands on the side of her mates head. An image of him howling but actually spitting out water. It’s actually a beautiful fountain. Believed to be an image of the real moon goddess and her mate.

“Alpha, what is it that we need to discuss that we couldn’t discuss in front of the others?” The bastard says with a slight agitated tone.

“Amaly..”

“Princess Amaly. Please don’t ever degrade her without using her title. She is too far of royalty status to be called otherwise, Alpha.”

“Let’s be clear how much you really know her. She has never liked to be call princess, especially from me” I say such fiercely looking into this pathetic person in front of me.

“Whether she likes the title or not, that is who she is. I do not appreciate you degrading the status of my chosen mate.”

Walking up to his face, Marcus grabs my arm trying to stop me. Allen with his hand up, stopping his entourage. In his face, I say, “I suggest you stop calling her, your mate. She has one already given from the goddess herself. Leave her and let her be. You do not deserve her.”

“Now, tell me. Who does she deserve? You? As long as you have been around her, you never made any intentions of being with her I assume? What I have with the princess has been going on for months. She has known that she will be my chosen whether or not, we are fated. Maybe you should ask her who she’s in love with. You know what, I’ll let her tell you on her own. Stay away from her alpha when you hear those words. Her heart is with me. And I have already vowed to keep her.” And with that he turns, walks back into the pack house with his entourage following. His Beta eyeing me as if giving me a warning to stay away from his alpha.

“Alpha, please don’t cause anymore of a scene here. Let this party ride out and when the time comes, you can claim her.” Marcus tries to level me.

“Marcus. I didn’t cause a scene and at least I asked him for a word that didn’t go so well. Let’s go back inside. I’ll try not to say anything else.” Turning to go back in and looking at my father. He says nothing but I can see in his eyes that he already knew everything.

As we are walking back in, Olivia runs to me and Marcus, “are you ok Jaxxon? What’s going on? Alpha Allen seems upset. He told Amaly he will announce to her father that he has chosen her and will make her his Luna.”

We both look up and see on the make shift stage, the almighty Alpha King Raiz & Queen Luna Elizabeth. “Thank you everyone for coming from near and far” he says through the mic. “We appreciate everyone that has come to celebrate the wonderful bond I have with my goddess given mate. I have been the Alpha King for over 26 years and with pride, I have ruled the Northern West Territory with a force. As we are here to celebrate my love for Liz. I have also wanted to announce tonight, that we will acknowledge my son, David as the new Alpha King.”

Gasps and shock can be heard all around. Did David know?

“We have kept this a secret between my mate & I, and we are both comfortable with David taking over. My son has strive to make himself known and hopefully, his mate will soon follow. It is time for us to step down, with your Queen Luna, carrying our last little one. We would like to raise her as normal as we can. As all my children, Prince David, Princess Amaly, Princess Sierra, Princess Sienna, Prince Nathan, & Prince Noah, blessed me goddess to no one to ever have 3 sets of twins and I mean no one go and try to have 3 sets of twins,” he laughs and everyone around laughs at his humor. “David, son, are you ready?”

David on stage steps up and nods and bows to his parents. Beta Anthony, the alpha kings beta comes to his side with the ancient gold crusted knife bejeweled with rubies and stones, and the matching goblet.

“Do you Prince David, take with pride, the land of the Northern West Territory, to be the King the territory needs. To place the needs of the pack first and foremost before your own. To take the responsibility of our kind and show no mercy to others?”

“I do father. With great pride I will rule to the fullest with my responsibilities as Alpha King.” Prince David says with pride.

Taking the knife, slicing it into his palm, and pouring his own blood into the goblet. “Son, give me your palm.” David opens his palms to his father. A glimpse of tears in David’s eyes. His father does the same to his palm. Being a wolf, especially with alpha blood, our wombs close quickly. He swirls the goblet to mix the blood. And hands it to David.

“I hereby relinquish my powers as the Alpha King of the Northern West Territory and all my duties to my son Prince David. And the powers bestowed in to the Queen Luna, be held into my son until his fated mate is marked to be his luna. Son, please drink this goblet of our descendants, so that the powers will transfer to you.” And with that, he hands the goblet to David and he drinks. We all felt the rush and swirls of power being transferred to our new king.

“It is with well wishes, that I now announce the New Alpha King of the Northern West Territory, your new Alpha King David Ramirez!

We all howled in congrats to our new king.

I congratulated my best friend. “You know I got your back bro. 100%. Anytime you need me.” I say hugging him and patting him in his back.

“A*hem” we all turned to see this bastard idiot trying to say a few words.

“It’s with great honor to witness this special moment. Congratulations to our new Alpha King!..” and he bows his head and looks into Amaly’s eye. She’s showing a little fear at the moment.

“Please Alpha King David and Alpha King Raiz, with your permission, I would like to continue to pursue the princess in hopes of her choosing me as her chosen mate. I have eyes for only her to be my Luna of the Red Moon pack.”

All of the sudden, I felt many eyes on me. Grinding my teeth, trying to tame my wolf, my mothers hold on to me. ‘In time she will come forth. Let her chose her destiny. With time, she will follow her true destiny.’ My mother links me. And I looked at her confused.

“I love you princess. I have always since the moment we started this journey together. I have vowed my heart to you and want you by my side now. And from this moment going forward. I love you.” He says to her and grabs her to him and hugs her tightly. And then, close to a silent whisper, I heard her, “I love you too.”

Alpha Allen, with his eyes shooting daggers and a huge smirk with the “I told you so” look.

He did this intentionally to mark his claim.

I removed my mothers arm, and dropped it. Mind linked Marcus as I turned to walk away ‘let’s get the fuck out of here.”
