Amaly’s POV

Still trying to gather what that was all about with Jaxxon. He’s never been that way towards me. Was it because of Allen. Was he jealous that Allen was with me? No, he couldn’t be. He knew of us. He should have because I’m sure Olivia’s mentioned about our relationship. It was actually getting serious.

Allen has mentioned a few times that he wanted me as his chosen. Every time, I hesitated knowing that our fated mates would appear eventually and that bond would be stronger and conquer over any chosen mate bond. No matter how strong they believe their bond was. It’s rare to see wolves choose their chosen over their fated. I mean yes there are chosen mates out there because there are those who never found that fated.

Being a direct descendants of the moon goddess, I know she had my fated place somewhere within the lines of my life. I would never stray away what is given to me. I couldn’t. A part of me hopes that Allen is my fated. Or an ounce hoping it would also be him. But that’s hopeless thinking.

My love for Allen has grown. He’s been so kind and loving and had tried to woe me in every way. The way he loves me. I practically melt. I know my father isn’t fond of him, nor my mother but at least she acknowledges him.

Olivia finally arrives with her parents. So happy to see my best friend.

The way they look at each other reminds me of how much my parents loved one another. I can’t wait for that. I hope Allen and I flourished to that level.

Someone clears their throats. Alpha Kane. “Not as lovely as us, dear.” Luna Maria giggles. “Of course love. You always top others but let us make others feel great too.” She says shaking her head.

“Alpha Kane, Luna Maria. It’s great to see the both of you here.” Allen says shaking hands with the alpha.

“Same, son. How’s your father? Hope he is doing well. I have not seen him in any gatherings.”

“My father tends to stick to only pack duties since losing my mother. He doesn’t leave the pack grounds as much but sends me everywhere.” Allen says with pride. His mother was killed in a savage attack in the city while shopping. Her and her entourage all killed.

Luna Maria looks at me, smiles, then ask, “How is your father accepting the princess?” The looks in her eyes shows some type of disappointment. Showing that she’s hiding something.

“Ah, luna. He loves the princess and constantly talks about a mating ceremony. But the princess here has yet to give us the final say.” Allen says smiling at me and tries nudging.

“Your father wants you to take a chosen? What about your fated?” Alpha Kane asked a little concerned.

“Father is happy with either choice. He loves the princess as his own. And thinks highly of her and knows she is fully capable of being my Luna.” Allen’s pride in his statement made me nervous. Maybe going too fast Allen, i thought to myself.

In a couple months, we’ll both know our fate. Scares me really. Are we making the right choice?

“Alright then. Let’s head inside. Olivia, do not disappear or I’ll make Marcus hunt you down.” Alpha Kane says turning to his daughter who turns red in the face.

Whispering to Olivia, knowing everyone could probably hear because of wolf hearing, “I’m sure you’ll like that Liv.” And she giggles. “Shut up Ly!”

We make our entrance, holding on to Olivia as we walk to the back. Allen, his beta John, and their entourage behind us. Did we really need this much people following us?

Feeling the sense that I have eyes boring into me, like my body is burning from it. I glance where I see Jaxxon, eyes ready to kill.
