Oh! You are finally here? 

“You!, Chloe you suddenly remember having a home! Where on earth! no! the question should be, what on earth did you do? 

“You are finally home after your escapades have ruined the Reputation of the Crowther!” 

Matilda said upon setting her eyes on Chloe, who looked shocked to see them up so early in the morning.

They were all standing in front of the TV set, but immediately they saw her sneaking into the house, they moved toward the living room to meet up with her. 

Giving her no escape route.

She had thought that they would still be in bed by the time she returned to the home, but unfortunately, they are all up already.

There is no way out for her!

“How do you feel after doing a shameful thing like this? How could you be so self-centered? didn't you think of any of us at all, or even think of the huge loss your father will incur because of them!?

Matilda yelled with a tone full of empathy for her, Chloe was pissed seeing her hypocritical acts.

She knew Matilda was trying to create a problem for her.

Chloe kept quiet while she continued ranting when Maddie saw that her father hasn't said anything, but his gaze was still fixed on Chloe.

His eyes were filled up with hatred and disgust, she knew that with a little bit of provocation, Mr.Crowther would be forced to react, and that's exactly what she wants.

To get rid of Chloe for good!.

After seeing how angry Mr. Crowther was already getting, Maddie, walked up to Chloe and held her hand with a pretentious concern in her tone.

She opened her mouth and was about to lash out at her, but before she could do so Mr. Crowther spoke first.

“Chloe! 

“What did you just do?

He asked with a gritted teeth, his teeth flashed against each violently and his face was red with anger.

“Master, let's make sure we're clear about everything first before we make mistakes in haste.

Nanny said, upon seeing the glint of anger in his eyes, she knew he was buying their stories.

 He didn't bother to listen to the nanny.

Immediately he said that he made a move towards Chloe, upon seeing his movements Maddie moved aside to let him through. 

Mr. Crowther halted in his steps when his phone vibrated. he took it out and check on the caller, upon recognizing it he placed it hastily on his ear. 

“Hello!?

“Hello Mr. Crowther, I'm sorry to inform you but the meeting has been canceled, we could no longer do business with your company after the rumors flying around about you and your family. It's not good for our company to be associated with yours, that's why Mr. Blake asked for the contract to be terminated with an immediate effect. Hope you understand!” 

The Secretary said from another end of the phone, Mr. Crowther nodded his head in affirmation, and the call dropped.

After receiving the call the feeling of anger in his eyes heightened to the highest level that he could no longer control.

He moved closer to Chloe in one quick swift, he lifted his hand and landed a thunderous slap on her face. 

Smack!! 

The slap sent her directly to the floor, and she fell helplessly without trying to get a hold of herself.

Chloe wasn't expecting her father to do such a thing in the first place, 

her beloved father has always been her greatest support ever since she lost her mother some years back.

But after he got married to Matilda, with whom he had an affair, while her mother was still alive, when Chloe found out about this, she was shattered. But she managed to scale through the pain she felt. 

The fact that she had to get used to them living with them was another reason that hurt her very much, but she survived their tortures.

“How dare you do such a shameful thing? did I raise you to become a shameless woman like this? answer me, Chloe!!!

Mr. Crowther jerked Chloe up with force, his nails piercing through her soft skin.

“Do you know what your actions gas caused me? How dare you act like a hopeless whore like that !”

“Do you even realize you are supposed to be getting married? What do you want everyone to say now?”

Javier roared with all the veins on his forehead popping out, due to the anger emanating from his mind.

His whole body was covered with anger.

“You think, you can do anything including tarnishing my reputation,  millions of dollar contract has been lost all because of you, what more? 

Chloe lowered her gaze while Mr. Crowther yelled at her, but when she could not take the accusations being leveled at her, she agitated.

“I didn't do anything bad, someone is trying to frame me. I swear I haven't done anything to tarnish... 

“ You didn't do anything? What are you trying to say, Chloe? Someone is trying to tarnish your name? Can you even hear yourself talk? the news of your horrible behavior is being broadcasted in the entire city and you are here lying about it to our faces!?

Matilda said interrupting Chloe and trying to prevent her from clearing her name from the whole fiasco.

If that happens, that her plans would be ruined. 

“I didn't do anything wrong dad, please believe me!” 

“Chloe, I didn't want to tell dad about your horrible behavior but, now you left me with no other choice ”

Maddie chimed in, moving towards Chloe with her eyes fixed on her father. 

Her tone was full of concern, but her eyes betrayed a hint of schadenfreude.

She was about to say something, but  Mr. Crowther's phone rang out and he picked it up hesitantly.

After receiving the call he had a dejected look on his face, and the anger in his eyes suddenly sprang up into an unimaginable hatred. 

 Seeing his expression, Matilda got curious, she tugged to him with a curious gaze.

“Javier? What happened? why do you have that look? She asked.

He kept quiet for a couple of minutes, then Chloe spoke up.

“Dad! This is all Maddie's plan to frame me. She is behind everything!

“I caught her sleeping with Gabby when I was about to leave the place, someone attacked me from behind. She is behind all of this, she......

 “How vicious can you get? You even had the nerve to drag your sister into this? I can't believe you intending framing your sister to buy your way out of this!

“Your sister might not be the best, but she is not so calamitous that she would think of hurting you in such a way!” 

Matilda yelled, walking towards her in large stripes.

“Chloe, I know you hate me but don't drag me into all of this. How can you imagine Gabby and me in such conditions what has gotten into you?

Maddie said with a pitiful tone, she began to tear up after saying this.

her appearance pitiful like a child, who was wrongly accused of a crime. 

“Dad? Chloe is just saying this to take revenge on me, I caught her flirting with an ugly looking guy, who seems like a hooligan a few days ago, I confronted her about it and she threatened to hurt me if I tell you about it”

Maddie explained tearfully, turning her gaze towards Mr. Crowther, who seems lost in thought. But deep down he was boiling with anger.

“Dad? Why aren't you saying anything?

She asked, pouting her mouth, like an aggrieved child.

“I'm telling you the truth dad, both Gabby and Maddie are in this together, please listen to me!

Chloe pleaded with tears streaming down her face.

 With rage, Mr. Crowther dashed towards her, with one swift movement he jerked her up from the floor, where she was crouching.

“I can't believe how shameless and malicious you have become, you have the guts to drag your sister into this! I can't believe you! I trusted you with everything and you betray me so horribly.” 

“How could you think of doing this to me? 

He howls shaking her vigorously, Chloe could feel the bones in her body tearing apart due to how violent his action is.

“I promise I'm not telling lies to implicate her, she is in a cohort with Gabriel. They are trying to... 

Before Chloe could finish her statement, Matilda chimed in and stopped her. 

“Chloe, you pathetic excuse of a child! , I can't believe I raise you with my love and devotion. After all my years of love, is this how you intend to repay me? By framing your innocent sister to bail out yourself!?

“What are you not capable of doing? Tell me! , you are accusing your sister of such a vile thing? 

Matilda held onto Chloe's shoulders and dragged down her collar, exposing the fake hockey on her neck, then she moved back to drag the attention of Mr. Crowther to the marks on her body. 

“Javier, look at your god-like daughter. Look at the marks on her body, the man was right, she indeed spent the night with a strange man, not just any man but a hooligan at that. I'm very ashamed to be related to you” 

After saying that, she went over and drag Maddie to stand right in front of Chloe, then she pulled down a little bit of her collar, then she showed her neck to them.

“You accused her of sleeping around with Gabriel Remas, right? Is there a mark to prove your claims? No!, there is none! You are the culprit, stop trying to fool your father, and I ”

Mr. Crowther snorted and grab hold of Chloe's collar.

“Tell me! why did you do that? Why did you choose to ruin everything in just one night! Haven't I done enough for you Chloe” 

He squeals, after that he pushed Chloe to the floor with one swift push.

Both Aunt and Claire rushed over to comfort her.

Chloe's eyes were already swollen and puffy from crying, but she continued to sob silently. 

Maddie was getting annoyed with the way her father was handling the entire situation, she decided to do something to trigger her father to chase Chloe away from the Villa and probably disowned her as a Crowther. 

If that happens, no one will compete with her, about the Crowther properties, and if Andrea intends to be a hurdle for her, she might as well send her hell along with her sister. 

When no one was paying attention to her, she signaled at Matilda to keep them busy, while she finds a way to add more fuel to the already burning fire.

As soon as she got to a hidden corner of the living room, she brought out her phone and dialed a number.

Within a split second, the call was picked.

“I'm sure you want the full details about the Crowther's eldest daughter escapades! , you can get exclusive news if you rush over to the Crowther's villa right now!” 

With that, she dropped the call and was about to swap the dim cards, when another follows suit.

She frowned upon recognizing the caller, she picked up the call grudgingly.

“How do you like my acting skills? , I'm sure I did well. You must be very impressed with me, right? hahaha! 

The man said from the other end, as soon as Maddie picked up the call. 

She was not in the mood to have a long debate with him, and also this is not the perfect time to have the conversation.

Getting irritated by his loud upheaval, she replied nonchalantly.

“You will get your money later in the day, and let this be the last time you call my number, otherwise you will have yourself to blame for the aftermath” 

She said with a threatening tone.

Her voice was laced with danger and seriousness.

“I understand ma'am, it won't happen again! "

The smile on the man's face disappeared after she said that, then he composed himself.

Maddie haggled the sim card, hiding it under her phone,  she went back to the living room.

As soon as she appeared in the living room, groups of reporters throng into the room.

Their voices were as loud as the cracking wall of Jericho.

They threw different provocative questions directly at Mr.Crowther 

“Mr. Crowther, you are such a respected businessman in the country, how could you allow your daughter to do such a thing?”

“Are you going bankrupt? Is that the reason why you asked her to sleep around to enable you the money needed”

“What do you have to say about this?

“How do you feel about everything ” 

“Do think your business partners will still go ahead with your collaboration after all that has happened? 

“Are you still going to make eldest Miss Crowther the successor of your company after this? 

“What image do you think that action will paint in the business world? 

“Will the wedding of the eldest young miss Crowther still take place? 

 Please tell us!!! 

We need answers!

 “I can see you are having a family reunion here!! 

A familiar voice said from behind .
