CHAPTER 05

ALPHA GREY:

"Where the fuck is she? I'm so gonna kill every fucking one of them if I don't find her." I yelled out loud as I walked out of the room and slammed the door shut.

"Calm down Grey, we'll find her." Daniel said to me, but I was too furious to calm down. How could a weak human escape all the guards I had placed in the mansion and escape on her own.

"How is that even possible?"

"Maybe you underestimated her this time."

"Damn it!" I yelled.

Liam came towards me holding an apple in his hands. "You were fucking in the mansion when she left, how come you didn't even see her leave."

"I wasn't in the mansion. I had a date tonight and so I left."

"Fuck! Get the hell out of my sight, Liam." I said and was walking away when I suddenly halted again.

"I gotta find her beforebanything stupid happens to her, and you two are helping." I said and continued walking. I could feel their footsteps trailing behind me. We all got into the car and I drove away. The first place I went to was her house.

I got down from the car only to see a burnt down building. For the first time in my life, I was scared of something happening to that baby in her. Rage filled me so much and my wolf wasn't taking the look of things easy.

"That fucking human, how dare she escape?" I cursed under my breath. I'm going to keep her under a leash this time around."

"She couldn't have gone far if she didn't have anything with her. Let's just find any spare things that belong to her and track her using her scent." Daniel said.

"Wait here?" I ordered them and began walking into the house which half almost collapsed. A few minutes later, I walked out of the house holding a yellow scarf.

"Only thing I could find."

"That's enough. Can you track her with that?"

I think."

I brought it closer to my nose and sniffled. It was hard, but when I focused, I was beginning to feel her presence. It wasn't near and it seems like it was blocking me from finding her exact location.

I got into the car and immediately ignited the engine, then I drove away. I had to sniff the air and the scarf several more times to get a location, but I was still very confused.

"Fuck!"

I halted the car when it seemed like nothing at all was working. "Something is blocking me from finding her exact location."

"Maybe because she's too far from you." I heard Liam say.

"I'm not fucking gonnn lose this one. Not when she has what is mine." I placed the scarf close to my nose and shut my eyes. If there was one thing I was good at, it was focusing. "Nobody says a word." I instructed as I shut my eyes to focus deeply. When I opened them back, I finally got it.

"Found you, little lamb." I said and smiled. I ignited the engine and immediately drove away. It took me about 20 minutes to stop the car. I was right in front of a house.

"What the hell is she doing here?" Daniel questioned, but I didn't say a word. I had other things in mind, and somehow I had a feeling something wasn't right.

"Daniel, stay back, Liam, you come with me." I instructed. I and Liam began walking right into the house. It was simply empty and more like an abandoned house. We both walked until we got to a passageway.

"Take the left, I'll take the right." I said.

As I walked, I could hear heartbeats. Not just one, but four. I wondered why there were four heartbeats, but I could also feel that one was the weakest. Silently, I prayed it wouldn't be Emily's.

I walked until I was standing right in front of the room. It took me only a single force with one of my legs and the door came crashing to the floor.

I was right, there were four people in the room.

Everyone turned their gazes at me, and the very moment I saw Emily lying unconscious on the bed, it turned me angry. I took just a single step into the room trying my best not to lose my cool and kill every fucking person in the room.

"What the hell are you doing to her?" I questioned with rage.

There was a doctor in the room, and with the look he had on his face, I could feel he was trying to harm Emily.

"Who the hell are you?"

I ignored the two men in black and began heading towards the doctor who was holding something in his hands. It was something he was going to inject in her.

I grabbed it from his hand. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?" I questioned, but got no answer.

"Talk!" I yelled out loud, jerking him in fear. I grabbed his clothes and threw him to the wall.

"Who do you think you are?"

I turned around to meet the two men in black. They were both holding a gun. "What did you do to her?" I questioned the one in a more expensive looking suit.

"Take one more step closer and I swear you'd be lying dead on the floor."

I immediately halted, and turned my head to stare at Emily. Just thinking about the fact that something might have happened to the baby made me so mad. I furiously rushed towards the taller one and slammed him to the wall. I was choking him with my hands, but then I felt a sudden pain. It made me gasp, releasing my grip on the person I was holding. I was shot

"Grey." I heard Liam's voice as he rushed right into the room.

I fell on one knee as I watched the bastard run out of the room in a hurry. Liam rushed towards me.

"D…. don't let him…"

I couldn't complete my statement because I blacked out immediately.
