Soon, the court gave its verdict. Kenneth and the other students, who were involved in Benji's case, were punished accordingly.

At the same time, the court issued an incidental civil judgment. Kenneth was required to pay me compensation. As his guardian, Rosalind made the payment for him. However, I donated the compensation to the poor folks living in the rural mountain area right away.

After that, Rosalind took a long break from work, so she never showed up at school. I heard that she moved out of her old home because the neighbors kept gossiping about her.

Since Raphael uncovered evidence of Joshua receiving bribes, the latter was suspended from his position. He had been under investigation since then.

It might seem as though my life had gone back to normal, but the truth was, I could never find my inner peace since then. Whenever I roamed the school grounds, I'd stop in my tracks from time to time because I thought I'd see Benji there.
