Chapter 100: Say Goodbye

"Prisley, you've always wanted to leave me, right?"

Mark turned around to look at Prisley, his eyes slightly red.

Prisley felt confused. “Why are you saying this? Aren't we getting along well? It’s your birthday today. Let’s not think about unhappy things.”

Mark gripped her arm tightly. “Then say it. Say ‘I love you, Mark.’ Say it!”

Prisley guessed what was happening and looked at Mark with wide eyes, tears starting to form. She tried to stay calm. “Mark, what’s wrong? Haven't I been good to you?”

“Say it! Say you love me!!” Mark shook Prisley’s shoulders, shouting hysterically, his eyes growing redder.

Prisley remained silent.

Mark’s voice grew louder. “You still love him, don’t you? You went to the joint venture company against my wishes for him.”

“He knows you’re there, so he keeps coming around. Prisley, I can’t believe you’d do this to me!”

Mark’s face was twisted in pain as he slammed his fist on the coffee table, making a loud crash that startled Prisley.
