"Is that so?" The captain dismissed his subordinates and immediately raised the bowl to his lips. A long swig from it later, he asked, "But why do I feel like this is pork?"

"The meat is pork; the rest is not so certain."

Hearing this, Mr. Grant picked up a piece of bone from the ground and inspected it closely.

It didn't take very long for his expression to darken. "Sheila Lawson, I am arresting you on suspicion of murder."

I took a step backward and turned to face him squarely. "Mr. Grant, you're an experienced investigator. I trust you would be able to determine the time of death."

"What do you mean?"

"This is what I managed to retrieve from the factory under Cedric Sutton's nightclub. There wasn't just one, but countless bodies there. In fact, my student Rose Langston died at his hands."

"I'm sure you're aware, but it's impossible to charge him with this alone."

"What if I have direct evidence?"
