Chapter 492

Sage lost her temper easily but calmed down just as quickly.

By the time Jace sent Sage to her community gate, her petty temper was mostly gone. She looked calm again.

Her assistant, Louis, was waiting in front of the gate with an umbrella in his hand. When Sage finally arrived, he immediately opened the door for her and protected Sage from the blazing hot sun.

He greeted Jace very politely, "Thank you for giving Miss Sage a ride, Mister Jace."

He was unaware of Jace and Sage’s history. All he knew was that Jace was pursuing Sage. It was Jace who rescued Sage when Luna wanted to kill her the other day. Jace left a good impression on Louis, so he was friendly with him.

Jace told Sage, "Sage, let’s invite Dr. Samuel and Luther to a meal soon."

"Let’s talk about it next time."

Sage remained cold and distant. She closed the door and walked into the community with Louis.
