A bolt of lightning split the dark blue sky. Almost as if the lightning had struck her, the crown resting atop her head fell to the ground.

It started raining. The crowd had slowly dispersed and Sienna looked as if she had her soul sucked out of her body. Staring at Jace who was walking away from her without even a backward glance, Sienna felt despair.

The man who had always shielded her from all danger had finally left her.

Sienna had finally regretted her decision to break up with Jace. She had finally realized the price she had to pay for all her bad and impulsive decisions throughout the three years that she had spent abroad.
