Immediately after the ceremony, I was practically dragged into the car by William. He did not even let me say my goodbyes to my friends. To him, they were not necessary as long as I was not dying. I woke up earlier than usual today, I had just kept on tossing and turning all night. The house is going to have to take some getting used to.I stretched my limbs while jumping off the bed, I quickly made the bed before heading towards the bathroom. I ran my hands through my hair as I walked lazily into the bathroom, I reached into the bag I brought in yesterday for my toothbrush to brush my teeth before going into the shower.After showering, I glanced at the little clock sitting on the tableside for the time and I still had three and a half hours before Cedrick would come to pick me up. William tossed the files he was holding rudely on the table in front of Mr. White. Mr. White unfurls the files and brings out our signed marriage certificate. He read through it first, making uncanny hmmn sounds. I woke up this morning and did my normal routine before heading down to the kitchen in my black sweatpants and tank top. The golden rays of the sun flooding into my room the next day woke me up, It was as though the sun was reaching out to me, inviting me to start the day, I grumbled to myself as I walked over to my phone on the table to check the time and it was past eight William would probably be gone by now I thought to myself as I made my way down the stairs. Yesterday, the exhaustion caught up to me as Cedrick drove me home. The smooth ride lulled me to sleep and I kept fighting to keep my eyes open throughout the ride. Immediately Cedrick dropped me off and I bid him goodnight, William wasn’t done at work at the time I came back so I didn’t bump into him as I made my way up to my room. I showered, changed into my pajamas with sleepy eyes as the shower didn’t help me stay awake, and went to bed.I hummed to myself as I rinse off soap from my skin under the shower. I woke up quite early today with a hungry stomach since I didn’t eat last night before going to bed.
