FIVE years had passed, and Ruby thought she could handle everything alongside Danrick. Little did she know that Mrs. Whitlock was the one behind Ava's stable life. She felt the urge to be upset with her friend for deceiving her, but she hesitated. Understanding that her friend was simply helping and not responsible for her.

Ruby sighed as she watched Mrs. Whitlock and Ava enjoyed each other's company. Ava resembles Adam in many ways, indicating no doubt about who her father is once they are together. Her smiles and furrowed brows reflected Adam's characteristics. Ruby sometimes wonders if her intense love for Adam resulted in their child being a mirror image of him.

After a while, Mrs. Whitlock approached her again. "Let's go home. You are welcome to the mansion, and Aston is eager to see his grandchild."
