It had been a few days since Elijah and Charlotte had seen each other for the first time. She couldn't be happier for not having to see his face ever again. She made sure that she asked her mother about where she was going every time she was asked to go help. Fortunately for Charlotte, her mother never really needed any help whenever she went to clean at Elijah's house.
That was until today. Her mother had send her an address after a few hours into her school day, supposedly Elijah had asked her mother to come clean a room but since her mother couldn't, she was the one stuck with the job. She hated it, she never got payed for helping. She couldn't complain because she really didn't care about the money.
She already had made once that mistake of asking for money. It had ended in a two hour scolding and lecture on how her parents gave her a roof over her head, payed for her school and payed for her food that she hadn't bother to listen for the rest of the bullshit that had escaped her parents mouth.
It's not like Charlotte had no money of her own, she did but it still felt shitty to work for something but still not get payed. If there was anyone out there that helped their parents more than she did, she would feel less of a bitch about it. But she believed she was the only one, in fact she believed this was hell. Her life was a living hell.
She dreaded the end of the hour, she didn't want to be done with school. She didn't want to go to his house. The only reason she had agreed on this, was the hope of him leaving her completely alone. Surely he wasn't going to tease her again, was he?
The thought alone, made her flinch. She didn't want to go anymore, she was sure she could find a lie to tell her parents. How about her period? Nah, that had never worked before. She thought to herself.
She tried to shake the thoughts away and focus on what her teacher was explaining, but she found out it was things she already knew. Her best friend sat beside her typing away, she tried to see who she was texting with but as if feeling her eyes on her, she pulled the phone away. Charlotte couldn't help but frown, why was her friend being so distant lately. Had she done something wrong?
For the next ten minutes she only focused on her last lecture, few minutes before the bell rang she got a message from an unknown number. Once she read the message she instantly knew who it was. It was none other than, Elijah who she was dreading to see.
It didn't help when his message stated that he was waiting at the front of the school, so he could give her a ride to his house. She was brought out of her thoughts when she heard her friend speaking. "Who's that?" She spoke and pointed at Charlotte's phone screen.
Charlotte couldn't help the scoff that escaped her lips, she didn't understand her friend. Here she was hiding things from her and then expected Charlotte to tell her things. "No one." She deadpanned and locked her phone. She didn't stare at her friend for the rest of the minutes, and when the bell rang she quickly gathered her things and was out of the classroom.
"Char, wait up!" Amara shouted for her friend who was quickly making her way down the stairs totally ignoring her. She tried to follow behind her but every other student was trying to get out of school just as quickly as she was. So, it was pretty difficult to reach her friend. When she finally stood at the front of the school door she saw her friend getting into an unfamiliar car. She frowned at the sight.
Amara knew she was being an awful friend but she just wasn't in the right state of mind, with everything that was going on at her house. She thought to rather be distant than say mean things that she would later on regret.
Charlotte, sat in the passengers seat and quickly regretted the decision when the man she had wanted to ignore leaned over her and fastened her seat belt. As if she couldn't do it herself. Her breath hitched in her throat as his knuckles slightly brushed against her breasts. She tried not to let the awfully awkward silent get to her but it did.
"Hi, thanks for the ride." She squeaked and looked up at him before adverting his eyes.
"No problem, tesoro." Another nick name, she thought. This time, she couldn't remember the meaning of it. But she knew it was something people didn't just go around calling each other. Last time, she had thought he was being polite. But this time, she couldn't help but get creeped out.
What was his problem? Didn't he know she was only 19? And so on the thoughts went, until her mouth spoke as if having a mind of its own. "You do know, that I'm 19, right?" She questioned, before she quickly slammed her hand against her mouth, her cheeks turned bright red and she could feel her ears turning warmer with each passing second. Oh fuck!
"Yes, why?" Elijah couldn't help but get startled by the young girls question. Had he already done something to upset her? He could be so clueless sometime.
"Than stop with the names." She mumbled her hand still over her mouth. He raised an eye brow in confusion not fully understanding her. Grabbing her hand he pulled it away as her eyes narrowed.
"Speak clearer." He couldn't help the command that escaped his lips. He was used to it, so when the young girl moved further away he was at loss of words. If Charlotte could choose her time of death this was it, she wanted to die right here.
"I said stop, calling me names!" She didn't know where the courage came from, yet she didn't question it. The raising of the voice made Elijah only want to be stricter than he was already planning to be with her. He hated disrespectful people. And she couldn't and wouldn't be an expectation.
"Don't raise your voice." He coldly replied to her, the warning tone not getting unnoticed by anyone. Elijah hadn't expected the timid and shy girl to open up to him this quickly and raise her voice as if he were her long-lost friend. The clenching of his jaw wasn't in his control, his hands were aching to punish the 19-year-old girl sitting in his passenger's seat.
He had different ways of punishing people who were being brats, but of course none of them were physical but he couldn't help himself. Last time he had seen her, he felt as if she was teasing him, provoking him at the least. He couldn't take his mind off the thought of her round ass; he almost couldn't believe his eyes when he had seen her under pants when she had been climbing the stairs in front of him.
That was a day Elijah was sure he would never forget, maybe it had to with the fact that he hadn't had sex in months. But he couldn't help but want her in more ways than one. She was a beautiful girl, even for her age.
And therefore all Elijah could think of right now was fucking her pretty mouth which was being used to make him angrier with each word she spoke and spank her ass raw. "Can you just drive already? There's things I got to do!" And that did it.
It had been a week since Charlotte had heard anything from Elijah. She was happy she wouldn't have to see him again. She made sure another accident like the one last Tuesday didn't happen anymore. Whenever her mother tried to ask her for help she'd always say she had exams coming up and stayed longer hours at school.Surely, she never thought the lie would work because her parents didn't really care about her education. But it did, and like all the other days, Charlotte sat in the school's library all alone typing away, her imagination running wild as she wrote the most erotic scenes ever. At least that's what she thought as she wrote them, but she knew when it was time to re-read her confidence would go down the drain."What are you writing tesoro?" She was so lost in her thoughts that when the voice was heard she thought it was her imagination."Yes! That's the word, thank you Elijah-" Her calm voice turning in a scream as she slammed her laptop shut and quickly turned around, only
Elijah knew he had fucked up; he was supposed to tell her. They had spent yesterday the whole day together but he still couldn't tell her. No matter what he just wasn't ready, even when he had brought her to his house and showed her the guest bedroom which she would be sleeping in.This whole situation was fucked up he couldn't believe people were still struggling with getting identification papers. For god's sake it was 2019, wasn't that supposed to be over already. Of course he had never known the struggle since he was born here, but he knew his great grandparents must've went through this process too. Thereof the feeling of needing to help.If he could he would help them all but unfortunately after a few talks with Afrim and his wife, Drita they had decided that they would just leave their daughter in somebody's hands that they trusted and the rest of family would return to Macedonia. He felt bad when the idea was brought to the table, but there truly was no other choice, they had
Whatever Elijah was supposed to tell her, he didn't. Yet again. He couldn't help but feel like he was purposely avoiding it, he felt like a coward. The house felt empty without her beautiful laughs. It was Saturday night, and he had nothing to do. He couldn't wait for her to come live with him, he was sure they would have so much fun together. At the thought he instantly got excited. Grabbing his phone from beside him he unlocked it and typed in her name, before he started typing his message. He was going to tell her, tomorrow.Charlotte was startled when her phone pinged, she was peacefully watching her favorite tv-series, Lucifer when it was rudely interrupted. Putting the episode on pause, she grabbed her phone and opened her messages. Even though he was miles away from her and the text only said 'hi tesoro,' she couldn't help the blush. Oh for god's sake she was twenty years old and here she was blushing like a little girl. Clearing her throat she started typing an reply when her
She carried her feet against the pavement as she prayed to not be late again, she was drained so running was not an option. Couldn't they have wait? She wondered just have waited a while longer until she at least finished school. Two weeks that's how much she had left. But no, her emotionless parents decide to tell her now about how they were moving all across the world this Wednesday. She sighed and climbed the stairs towards the school's front door. A supervisor held the door open for the students, if it was any other day Charlotte would've stayed with her to keep her company but today she didn't even bother to greet her. Walking into the school had never made Charlotte feel better in her life. She could barely hear her own thought's from the students around her.Confusion was her most present feeling these past few days, she was so confused that she felt like her own life was a dream. She saw the principal standing on a desk as she whispered with a teacher. So, something was going
Elijah was worried, he hadn't heard from her since Saturday. Had something happened? He was in his office going over the piece of paper for the third time, he couldn't concentrate. He didn't know how it happened but he really cared about her. He was going to pick her up from school later today. Knocking on his door made him pull away from his thoughts. "Come in!" He called and straightened his poster.Elena, one of his employees walked in, her heels clicking against the floor he tried to hold in his groan. She was trying to hard. He didn't understand because they had already slept together. A night which he would regret for the rest of his life. He had thought it would make her lay off his back but no, it's as if she had pierced her claws into his back and was obsessed with him."Mr. Maddox." He couldn't help but notice the way she spoke in a low voice, he stared at her as she closed his office door before turning the lock. He rolled his eyes as he quickly shut his shirt buttons he ha
Charlotte occasionally lied to her friend, but none of the lies she had told till now were as big as this one. She felt bad but she just wasn't ready to tell her yet. She wasn't even sure if Elijah and Amara would ever meet so what was the point, her friend hadn't bothered to know who she was staying with anyway so she didn't tell her.She stared down at her phone and wondered where she had heard the name of the street before. She opened Maps on her phone and typed in the address. Elijah had sent her, his office address and since she had seen him near the Starbucks she was at, she figured his office wouldn't be that far.And luckily for her it wasn't.She stared away from her phone after she made sure she had the right building. She couldn't help the shock, this was where he worked? The building had at least 40 floors if not more and she was sure it was one of the buildings she could see from her bedrooms window. She thought if this was a good idea. Here she was dressed as a freak abo
Elijah had never hurt a living soul, but he felt like he was about too. He had finally found the perfect moment, and he knew something about his tesoro was different today. Kissing someone had never felt more, right. But unfortunately, he was interrupted by his best friend, Lucas Maes. Instead of kissing her on the lips like he had planned to, he kissed her cheek making them redden more. He pulled away and turned towards his friend who stood smiling at them."Sorry, but I just wanted to see the beauty you can't stop talking about." Lucas exclaimed before moving to the side so he could see the woman that had stolen his best friends heart. To his surprise the person wasn't a woman at all, she looked like a kid. He frowned as he stared at his friend as if asking what the fuck is this? Not wanting to be an asshole to the poor girl who was red like a tomato he walked further into the office and closed the door behind him."Good morning, I'm Lucas." He forwarded his hand as he stared at the
Elijah marched towards his office he couldn't wait to spend time with Charlotte. The few days he had seen her, were the best days of his life. He heard a pair of heels follow behind him knowing very well who it was. Why was she following him?! He stopped walking and turned around making her bump against him. He grabbed her arm and shook her a few times as anger consumed him."Stop!" He snapped making her eyes widen in surprise. "What do you want?" He questioned calmer than he was before.Elena was a stubborn woman, she wanted the man for herself even though she knew he had no feelings for her, she couldn't help but desire him. And after what she had managed to get him to do this morning she couldn't help but hope for more. "I just wanted to ask if you want to have lunch with me." She innocently smiled up at him. He was hurting her both knew that, the hard grip he had on her arm will surely bruise her but neither cared."Listen you either get, me not wanting you in your thick head or I
Charlotte's body landed on the bed with a thump as a laugh escaped from her lips. She couldn't believe this was really happening. The desire in her grew with every second. Her body was on fire and she could barely breathe. His lips against her skin felt so forbidden but so delighting. Closing her eyes all she could imagined were the things she wanted him to do to her. His lips all over her body. His hands in her hair. On her body. All over her.Elijah hovered over her, his heart racing in his chest when the need became unbearable. He leaned; their lips connect once more. His hands went to her side until he reached the hem of her dress as his hand disappeared underneath.Charlotte gasped when his hand touched the inside of her thigh, she was wet and in need of him. Her hand running through his hair, she fisted his hair before tugging on his head making him grunt."You are so beautiful." He whispered to her, his lips went down to her neck, where he began his assault of kisses."Oh." Cha
Today didn't start off well, Elijah had to leave for work and Charlotte was drowning in her sorrow. She couldn't help but feel like he wanted to get away from her. Sure it was Monday but he could've called in sick. Or maybe it was her being needy. She decided to explore the rest of the house. She had seen the pool and she couldn't wait until the sun was out. She was in need of a relaxed day. As she walked through the halls, she couldn't help but feel paranoid. It was too quiet; she had never been in a house that was this quiet all the time. She really missed her brothers.Twenty minutes later she had seen every room in the house. The house was designed with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, a large living room and kitchen with backyard and of course the pool. She was too afraid to go to the basement so she decided to leave it alone. As she descended the stairs she made her way to the kitchen to see if she could find anything to eat. When she saw all the healthy food in the fridge she
Charlotte woke up from her deep slumber when she found it hard to breath. Sometimes it happened. Some days whenever she woke up in the morning she had it hard to breath, she needed to stick her head outside the window to get fresh air and that's what she did. Almost tumbling all over the floor she quickly opened the window and took a deep breath. After her heart slowed to normal rate and she didn't feel like she was about to die, she turned around ready to get in bed again when she saw him.He was peacefully sleeping on his side of the bed and all of a sudden she remembered the night before. After almost a week she had finally let herself feel the anger and hurt from what her father had done. And she had begged him to sleep beside her, it's not like he was hesitant but when she had wanted to do more than sleep he had turned her down claiming she was only doing it because she was hurt. The young girl wanted to scream at him and tell him that it was indeed what she was trying to do but
Charlotte stared out of the window as they passed the lines of trees which seemed to be endless. She had sat on the back away from Elijah, although he was hurt by the decision he understood. She needed time. "So, where are we going?" Charlotte cleared her throat; she was tired of drowning in her sad thoughts. If her father didn't care about her why should she?Elijah was surprised to hear her voice. "Home?" It came out more as an question and he truly felt pathetic how could a girl 10 years younger than him make him feel this way. "Do you have somewhere else to go?" He asked her clearing his throat.Charlotte lifted her head away from the window and moved closer to him. "Not really, but if you want to go home than I'm cool with it." His breath hitched when he felt her speaking next to his ear. He moved in his seat and stared at her through the rare mirror."Yeah." He cleared his throat once again when it came out rougher than he had intended. He couldn't believe she had managed to tur
Charlotte had never felt such regrets in her life, for the next two days all she kept thinking about was him and what she had done. Today was the day that her parents would leave her, although she didn't want them to leave she couldn't help but be excited for the future. She stood leaning against the door frame as she stared at her mother who was searching for her brothers clothes. "Can I help?" She cleared her throat, making her mother turn towards her. Drita smiled at her daughter before tears of sadness filled her eyes. It's not that Charlotte was heartless, she truly cared about people even when she didn't want to. But there's one thing Charlotte despised and it was people crying in her presences. She didn't know how to act, she wasn't one for hugs or comforting them. She awkwardly stood there for a second longer before moving further into the room, the room which once was hers but now had been cleared out.Her mother was a super woman because she had managed to pack Charlotte's c
Charlotte could be such a dumb ass sometimes. She didn't know how she did it, but somehow she had cut her finger. Right now there were droplets of blood all around the counter. As she held her finger under the water she looked around hoping to find any kitchen towel paper. She knew the next step was going to be the pain, she was used to it by now she couldn't count how many times she had hurt herself in the past. After she made sure her finger had stopped bleeding and had cleaned the counter she went on a search to find a band aid. Somehow through her search she had made her way upstairs to the room she was going to sleep in.Charlotte could be clueless sometimes and although she had heard the shower running she still managed to enter the bathroom. She froze once she realised her bathroom was connected to Elijah's bathroom. She quickly adverted her eyes as she went to turn around and leave the room.Elijah was glad he had decided to take a shower and as much as he didn't want to leave
