Chapter Sixteen: Lucia's pov

"what was I thinking?", Lucia asked herself as she laid on her bed, for some reason she thought Andretti would ask her to stay, in all the romance novels she had read, the guy would give a huge romantic speech and ask the girl to stay, but not Andretti.

Maybe she had misread his feelings, it's possible he doesn't like her back. That night they had together may not have meant anything, afterall it's just sex, it wasn't a proclamation of love or affection.

Now she needs to figure out how she was going to move back to Brooklyn, she would have to put up her family house and properties for sale, she was the only family he had left, so she inherited all the properties he had left.
