Tamara’s POV

The world was dark, silent, and suffocatingly still. I floated in an endless void, weightless and confusing

The last thing I remembered was the now familiar cold, sharp sting of the dagger piercing my chest and Dante’s voice, desperate and broken, calling my name.

Was I dead? again???

Before I could dwell on that terrifying thought, a silver light pierced the darkness, illuminating the space around me. The light grew brighter, almost blinding, before taking the form of a familiar woman.

Her presence radiated power and serenity. Her long, flowing hair shimmered like moonlight, and her piercing eyes seemed to see through my very soul.

“The Moon Goddess,” I breathed, my voice trembling.

She nodded, her expression soft but unreadable. “Yes, child. It is I.”

My heart—or whatever was left of it—stammered. “Am I… Am I dead? again”

Her smile faltered slightly, and she stepped closer. “No, Tamara. luckily for you, It is not your time yet.”

Relief flooded through me, but c

Tamara’s POV Sunlight streamed through the wide windows, warming my skin as I sat up to gaze at my lover in bed, my body still feeling the aftereffects of everything I’d endured. My Dante was by my side, as always, his arm resting protectively around my waist. “You’ve been staring at me for ten minutes,” he said, his voice rough with sleep but teasing. I smiled, brushing a hand through his dark hair. “I can’t help it. I still can’t believe we’re here, together, and… alive.” Dante turned to face me fully, cupping my cheek. “I made you a promise, Tamara. Nothing and no one will ever separate us again.” The sincerity in his golden eyes warmed me, but a lingering unease crept in. My thoughts drifted back to Lord Jarek’s escape. But I remembered Dante’s promise to capture him, to end the threat he posed to us and the pack. “Do you really believe that?” I asked softly. “That no one can come between us?” His gaze darkened, his jaw tightening. “Jarek is being hunted as we sp

Tamara’s POV The sunlight streamed through my bedroom window, bathing everything in a warm, golden glow. Violet tightened the last pin in my hair, stepping back with a satisfied smile. "There. You look perfect." Sophie, who had been carefully arranging the jewelry on the vanity, turned and gasped. "Luna Tamara, you’re glowing. Alpha going to lose his mind when he sees you." I looked at my reflection in the mirror, my breath hitching. My dress was everything I’d dreamed of—delicate embroidery, flowing fabric, and just the right amount of shimmer. But it wasn’t the dress that made me emotional. It was the realization that this day, my wedding day, had finally arrived. Tears welled up in my eyes. “I can’t believe this is happening. After everything… I never thought I’d finally get here.” “Don’t you dare cry,” Violet teased, but her own eyes looked glassy. “You’ll ruin my masterpiece!” Sophie rolled her eyes and handed me a tissue. “Let her cry. It’s her day. But just a little—don’t

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    It's ruined!

Tamara’s POV The temple fell deathly silent, the atmosphere crackling with tension. I could feel hundreds of eyes bouncing between Amanda, her twin boys, and Dante. Whispers rippled through the crowd like waves crashing against a fragile shore. “Is that Amanda? Dante’s ex-mate?” “The one who disappeared years ago?” “Why now? On their wedding day?” “She’s got kids with her. Are those…?” I tried to breathe, but my lungs wouldn’t cooperate. My hand shook in Dante’s, and to my horror, he loosened his grip. I glanced up at him, desperate for reassurance, but his face was unreadable, his jaw clenched tight. Amanda took a small step forward, her twin boys clutching her hands tightly. The boys—dark-haired, golden-eyed —looked up at Dante with wide, curious eyes. They looked too much like their mother, but that didn't mean they weren't fathered by Dante. “I owe everyone an explanation,” Amanda began, her voice soft but steady despite the murmurs that filled the temple. “Years a

Tamara’s POV Adrian didn’t waste a moment. As soon as I stumbled out of the temple, he was at my side, steadying me with his strong arms. His sharp commands to the guards and staff around us were muffled in the whirlwind of emotions surging through me. Everything felt surreal, as though I were trapped in a nightmare I couldn’t escape from. “Get her back to the palace. Now,” Adrian barked, his voice low but commanding. “I’m fine,” I mumbled weakly, though my knees felt like jelly. “No, you’re not,” Adrian replied curtly, practically lifting me into the carriage waiting outside. “Sit. Don’t argue.” The ride back to the palace was eerily quiet except for the sound of my ragged breathing. Adrian sat across from me, his arms crossed and his jaw tight, his golden eyes burning with suppressed anger. “You’re too quiet,” he finally said, his voice breaking the silence. “What do you expect me to say?” I whispered. “That I’m okay? That this isn’t the worst day of my life?” My voic

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Honeymoon

Tamara's POV I had never seen Dante this relaxed before, not in all the time I had known him. The private villa was tucked away on a secluded island. It was the perfect escape—a break from everything, from the pressure of his position as Alpha, from the chaos of his ex-mate, Amanda, and her mysterious return. I wanted to think that it was just him and me having a normal and peaceful life, the way it should be. But even here, surrounded by paradise, I couldn't shake the knowledge that something very wrong had entered our marriage. Dante was distracted from the first day of our honeymoon. We spent hours walking along the beach, exploring the island, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. I should've been thrilled. But something lingered in the air between us, an unease I couldn’t ignore. We had dinner the first night on the balcony, overlooking the ocean as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the sky in hues of orange and pink. It should’ve been magical. “You look am

Tamara's POV As soon as we got back from our ruined honeymoon, the door burst open with a loud bang. Amanda stormed in with panic as she rushed to hug Dante tightly. The suddenness of it all threw me off balance. I felt my pulse quicken as I watched her fling herself into Dante's arms, her voice cracking as she cried. "Dante! Oh my gods, someone tried to kidnap the twins!" she gasped, clutching at him desperately. "I don’t know what happened, but they’re in danger! I think someone is after them!" I felt the air in the room shift, thickening with tension. My chest tightened as I stood up, my hands fidgeting in my lap. There was something about Amanda’s hysteria that felt off—like she was manipulating the situation. Dante immediately took her in his arms, his face hardening with concern. "Wait, calm down and tell me exactly What are you talking about. Who would try to hurt my kids?" His voice was rough, demanding answers. Amanda took a shaky breath, wiping her eyes. "I don’t kno

Tamara's POV It had been a week since the twins' scare, and Dante had barely looked at me. I tried to tell myself that it was because he was just being a protective father, but there was something more to it—something I couldn’t quite put my finger on. He seemed distant, even more so than usual. And every time I caught him staring off into space, I felt this gnawing ache in my chest. Was it me? Was he regretting this—us? It was hard to deny the tension between us. The bond we had once shared felt fragile, like a thread stretched too thin. Dante had been avoiding me, and I had been walking on eggshells, unsure if I was making the right move or if I was simply overthinking it all. The only thing I knew for sure was that something needed to change. One night, as I sat in the study, the silence between us was deafening. Dante sat on the couch, his eyes glued to his phone, the same way he had been for hours. I could hear his breath, steady but distant. He wasn’t even looking at me, w

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Going back home

Tamara's POV I stood in front of the large mirror, my hands slowly smoothing down the fabric of the dark green dress that clung to my body. I had to look the part; this wasn’t a casual trip, not for someone like me. I was the Luna of the North, but I was also a daughter of the Winter Pack. It was time to return home and take what was mine. “Are you sure you want to go alone?” Violet’s voice came from the doorway, her expression somber, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. I turned to her, a lump forming in my throat. “I don’t have a choice, Vi. Jack and Kate are destroying everything, and I’m the only one who can fix it.” Violet stepped into the room and pulled me into a tight hug. “I know, but it hurts. You’re my best friend, and I can’t imagine being apart from you. I’ve always had you by my side. I know this is what you need to do, but I’m going to miss you so much.” I closed my eyes, letting out a shaky breath. “I’m going to miss you too, Violet. But you have Casper, and yo

Adrian’s POV The moment the warrior burst into the room, his face pale with urgency, I knew something was wrong. “The border—” he gasped. “It’s been breached.” I froze immediately. “By who?” The guard hesitated, then spoke. "We aren't sure sir. You need to see this by yourself." For a second, the words didn’t quite register. A breach? In our territory? That wasn’t supposed to happen. We had one of the strongest security systems in place. How the hell did someone get through? 'How did they even find the audacity to get through? And what did they want?' Is what I thought. But then— My mind went to Kayla. I needed to keep her safe at all costs. I didn't remember my pack, I didn't remember my people or any of the things I used to think about, all I remembered was Kayla. From that moment, my mind snapped. I barely remembered giving Logan orders. All I knew was that I needed to keep her safe. I remembered turning to her, grabbing her by the shoulders and saying “Stay her

Kayla’s POV "Did you really think I’d let you go, Kayla?” It growled. That voice. It was familiar. Too familiar. But that wasn’t possible because I couldn't remember hearing it before. Plus the fact that they were bold enough to intrude the south was a problem. I stood frozen, my heart hammering against my ribs as the shadows shifted near the doorway. Adrian was already in front of me, his body tense, it was like he was shielding me from the possible attack coming. His dark eyes burned with a dangerous intensity. “You need to stay hidden here, this palace is the safest place, Kayla,” he ordered. I barely heard him. My mind was racing, trying to place that voice—the one that had sent chills through my spine. It couldn’t be… But before I could think further, a deafening howl rang through the air. Then another. Then— Chaos erupted. --- Preparing for Battle A pack warrior rushed in, panting. “The attack has gotten worse sir!” he gasped. “They’ve broken past the o

Because he truly cared for Candice and this wasn’t Candice. Not the real Candice anyway, and we all knew it.And yet—My chest tightened as I watched him try to dodge another hit.But this time, he didn't move fast enough and Candice’s claws ripped through his sleeve, drawing blood.A sharp growl lef

Kayla’s POV Something was about to go wrong. We could all feel it—lingering in the air, creeping in the shadows of my mind. Suspicious activity had just been detected again in the pack’s security system. That was the third time this week. Whoever was doing this was inside the pack. But tracking them led nowhere. It was like chasing a ghost. And that scared me more than I wanted to admit. Because if we couldn’t find them, that meant they were good. Too good. --- Despite the lingering unease, I had to admit—Adrian had changed. The suffocating overprotection was gone. He still worried, still kept guards around, but now he actually let me breathe. And I knew why.It was because he believed in my ability to protect myself now. Because I wasn’t some helpless prisoner anymore. I had fought for my life and I had survived. I wasn’t weak anymore, even though I wasn't sure why. And because of that, we were finally going back to how we used to be before the kiss.Kind of Close and

Adrian’s POV No leads on how the traitor betrayed us. Not even a single damn clue about who the traitor was. Days of searching, interrogating, tearing through every possible lead—and still, nothing. It was infuriating. Someone had let those mercenaries in. Someone inside my palace, under my command, had betrayed me. And yet, whoever it was, they covered their tracks too well. Too carefully. That told me two things. One: They were smart. Two: They probably weren’t working alone or had some level of influence. I wasn’t letting this go. Because if they got in once, they could get in again. And I’d kill anyone who put Kayla in danger. --- I was in my office, pouring over reports, when Connor walked in. One look at his face, and I knew. “We found something?" I asked and he nodded. I stood immediately. “Tell me.” Connor tossed a file onto the desk. I flipped it open, scanning the details—then my body went rigid. A name and finally a familiar connection.

Kayla’s POVAfter that nightmare, I felt like a prisoner. The palace, once a place that had slowly started to feel like home, now felt like a cage with golden bars.Adrian had doubled security after the bloody warning note, and while I understood why… it didn’t make being constantly watched any easier.Guards followed me everywhere, inside and outside. I couldn’t take a walk without someone tailing me. I couldn’t breathe without Adrian knowing exactly where I was.I wanted to scream.Instead, I forced myself to keep my head down and obey—because that was what was expected of me.---"Adrian, please," I tried again. He didn’t even look up from the map spread across his desk. "No."I let out a frustrated breath. "I just want to go outside for five minutes.""You were outside yesterday," he said. "In the training yard. With three guards."I folded my arms. "That’s not the same thing, and you know it."He finally looked at me, his sharp gaze pinning me in place. "I'm not taking chances wi

I understood that she was struggling with something she didn’t fully comprehend. But after everything that had happened, after all the times I had proven I would protect her, she still didn’t trust me enough to tell me the truth.I should have been furious. But instead, all I felt was frustration laced with something I didn’t want to name.Because despite everything, I still couldn’t bring myself to push her away. So, I focused on what I could control—her safety.---I was in my office, reviewing patrol reports when I heard a soft knock on the door.I already sensed who it was before I looked up.Kayla stood in the doorway, her expression uncertain.I set my pen down and leaned back in my chair. “You’re avoidin
