Chapter Seventy-Three

Shannon’s POV

I carefully watched Alpha Robin’s face as he processed everything we had said. He seemed to be lost in thought and at the same time, I could see the excitement on his face as well.

It was like he was confused about what opinion to ride with, hence the obvious confusion.

“Well, I don’t think—“

He began but my mother cut him short.

“You just came back from your trip to the best news you’ve gotten in a long, long time, Robin.” My mother began as she placed a hand on his arm, forcing him to look at her. “The last thing you want is to ruin this moment with your questions.”

“I know,” Alpha Robin began. “It’s just that—“

“We can do this over breakfast,” My mother patted his arm as she pulled him away. “Come on, let’s head inside. Our children have finally decided to do right by themselves, it calls for celebration not questioning.”

I let out a huge sigh of relief as I watched on as my mother pulled him away before giving me a curt nod as they made their way into the mansion.
