Sienna
Today was the day I finally got to meet the man who would own me, and as Father put it very eloquently, I would be his bitch apparently.
But I would rather stab out my own eyes and eat them than let someone own me. Who the fuck did these men think they were?
I scowled as I looked into the full-length mirror. My attire didn't reflect what I thought, not in the slightest. My body was covered in a tight-fitting red silk dress. It had a deep v-neck and full-length arms. I wanted to hide my sore wrist, thanks to Father.
The dress stopped at my naturally tanned thighs. Pairing the dress with red heels, I went for a simple look. Light makeup covered my face, and my dark hair was pulled back into a sleek ponytail.
There was nothing more powerful than dressing up. It made men weak, and I made men weak. I pressed my lips together which were painted with red lipstick. The red blended well with my tan skin and icy blue eyes.
Cara entered my room after knocking. She eyed me and complimented my attire. I saw her fidgeting a lot more than usual and her eyes couldn't meet mine. Fuck, I felt like shit. Like meat on a platter.
I sighed. "It will be all right, Cara. I'll be fine," I reassured. I didn't know whether I was reassuring her or myself.
"Yes, I know, you'll be fine. You can handle yourself. I just wished you weren't forced to marry." Cara frowned as she fiddled with the gun in her pocket. I smiled as I looked at the floor.
"Your father is waiting for you," she spoke up as she held my bedroom door open for me.
"Well I'd better go to meet this Eric fucking Connall," I said with no emotion.
Entering the SUV, I inhaled deeply as I saw Father already seated inside. Why couldn't the bastard take another car? Fuck, he loved tormenting me.
I took my seat opposite him and crossed my legs in the spacious car. Father smoked a cigarette and I watched the grey ashes drop to the floor. Even after being told that the damage to his lungs was irreversible and he should ease up on smoking, Father smoked as if it were his last day on earth, and I actually wish it were.
His suit was grey like the ashes which matched his greying eyes. His face was aged and tired. I often wondered if I would end up the same. It was no secret that I smoked occasionally. There was also no harm in drinking every so often.
I always got told I got my looks from mother. Unfortunately, I didn't have even a picture of her. Father burnt everything Mother owned was burnt to ashes after her death. I was sure he wanted to burn me too.
After a few minutes of silence, Father spoke. There was no need to, yet he fucking opened his dirty mouth. "I am sorry to let my only daughter go." He looked at me, sneering.
I looked into his eyes unable to read anything. He was being sincere, and that was a first. He reached out and patted my hands which I kept on my lap. I scolded myself when I flinched at his cold touch. Fuck, when would this man even die?
Our SUV turned into a very upper-class area. The houses were not houses but mansions. They were also quite far apart from one another to allow privacy and to accommodate the large front lawns. The tall steel gates at the entrance of one mansion were promptly opened up and our car traveled towards the front door.
The warm air hit my face as I stepped out of the car but I still couldn't help but shudder. Cara walked behind me as did several other guards.
Father threw his cigarette to the ground and put it out. He was an uncaring vile creature. He led the way to the front door and I held my head up in an attempt to hide my anxiety.
Shit, I had never felt like this before. What the fuck was wrong with me? He was probably a bastard.
Upon knocking on the oak door, we were greeted by a petite brunette woman and a tall broad-shouldered man. Father smiled as he shook the man's hand. I was guessing those were the parents.
Father nodded toward me. "This is my daughter, Sienna Zannotti. She runs the Italian mafia."
They didn't hear the spite in his words but I did. Suddenly, all eyes were on me. Father didn't introduce himself which made me believe that he knew these people. The woman smiled as she looked me over.
Her husband was the first to speak. "Hello Sienna, I am Arthur Connall and this is my wife, Martha," he introduced as he slightly lowered his rough voice.
He placed an arm around Martha's waist and I didn't miss the subtle way Martha's first instinct was to pull away.
I offered a small smile as I kept my mouth shut. I saw a young man leaning against the wall behind Arthur and Martha. His posture indicated his reluctance of being here, and I eyed him as he walked over to the door.
He held out a hand and smiled, seeming quite friendly. "Hello, Miss Zannotti, I am Sean Connall." I shook his hand as I admired the various rings he wore.
"Hello," I replied simply…
"This is my youngest son, Sean, he is twenty-one. The elder is your fiancé,” Arthur said as he watched me.
Fiancé. The foreign word danced through my mind and shocked me once more as I realized my fate. Fuck, I wanted to run but I couldn't.
I smiled politely again and Arthur led us all inside to a dining room. They must have been thinking that I was shy or quiet but I didn't care. They would soon find out about me and my big mouth which spoke the truth.
The room was large and beautifully decorated. We were served dinner on china plates and had a selection of three different vintage wines to drink. I only drank a glass as I needed to stay sharp, this wasn't the time or place to get drunk.
Father was in the midst of a dull conversation with Arthur and Martha. I somehow felt disappointed that Eric was nowhere to be seen. This was his house, after all, and he couldn't be bothered to attend dinner with guests.
For all, I knew he could be hiding upstairs like the idiot he was. At least, I found out that he was only twenty-five, and judging by what his brother looked like, he should be decent enough.
I looked over at Sean whom I enjoyed talking to this evening. His dark hair was long and neatly combed back although it was getting beautifully messier as time progressed.
He had a sharp jawline and was neatly shaven. His dark brows and eyes held a certain boyish charm. Sean seemed to smile an awful lot and it suited him.
"My brother is not a bad guy but he can be an idiot at times. I do apologize on his behalf," Sean said as he sipped his wine.
I smiled at his honesty. "I am just disappointed he didn't even show up for this dinner." I licked my lips now, feeling less anxious.
"I will find him and make him clean up his act. Because you Sienna will be the best thing to ever happen to him." He nodded his head knowingly and I smirked.
"You know how to make a girl blush. Tell me do you have a girlfriend or wife?" I asked him.
He smiled lazily and used a napkin to wipe his mouth. "None, unfortunately."
I dropped my fork as I tilted my head at him. "Why not?" I asked. He seemed like a very nice young man. Women would be foolish to let him escape.
He chuckled and Martha turned to look at us with a scowl etched on her face. She soon turned away. I don't know what that bitch's problem was, but she had one with me. "Can't find that one special woman for me. I can tell you'll like Eric. You two have a lot in common." He smiled.
I stifled a yawn as I used a hand to cover my mouth. "How so?" I asked.
He smiled, his dark eyes shining. "You'll see… Remember Sienna, If he acts like a dick, tell me and I'll fuck him right up."
"You don't think I can handle myself?" I chuckled and he hummed.
"I think you can. But I'd like to fuck him up regardless."
Once dinner ended, Father went for drinks with Arthur and Martha, and I was glad I'd be rid of him in the meantime.
Instead, I went for a quiet walk on the grounds of the house. I was accompanied by Cara who stayed at my side. My heels crunched on the gravel path as I walked.
"The parents seemed nice and the son too," Cara noted.
"There was something off about them. Sean was genuine but the parents, I can't figure them out," I said as Cara hummed in agreement. There was always something.
I took a seat on a bench that faced a beautiful water fountain. I watched the water spill out from a beautiful fountain head into a pool below. The water shimmered white and reflected the full moon.
I stared aimlessly as I got lost in thought. I had a shit ton of work I needed to do. And here I sat, wasting time. Eric didn't even show up. Perhaps he felt the same as I did. Of course, he did.
Just then a husky voice spoke up, breaking the silence. "I'm here to see my fiancée."
The bastard, I thought, snapping out of my daze and turned to see Cara with her gun pointed at a man.
"It's okay," I said and Cara lowered her gun.
A tall well-built man walked over and took a seat beside me. As soon as he did, I smelt his musky aftershave with a mix of cigarette smoke.
I glanced quickly at him. He was the epitome of tall, dark, and handsome. His dark hair was brushed although it remained unruly and some wisps of hair strayed.
I wonder how soft that would feel if I ran my hand through it. His sharp jaws were covered in neat stubble and I could get lost in his dark eyes. And those kissable lips.
Fuck get a grip, Sienna! I ordered myself.
"I'm Eric Connall. I do apologize for not attending dinner, princess," he said and gazed at me.
I stiffened. "Don't call me that!" I snapped, my jaws going rigid.
His eyes darted elsewhere before they rested on me again. "Well, what should I call you?" he asked, reaching into his pocket and taking out a cigarette. He lit it and began smoking.
Now I could see it: how he carried himself, how he spoke. He was a mafia boss through and through.
"I'm Sienna," I said straight-faced.
"Sienna…" He tested my name on his tongue. The moonlight hit his eyes, making them sparkle even more so.
He leaned towards me slightly. "That's a pretty name for such a beautiful lady," he whispered close to my ear. I felt his hot breath fan my skin, the hairs on my neck rising. Any other girl would have found that to be seductive but I didn't.
"Would you like one?" he asked as he held out his cigarette and I shook my head.
"No."
He chuckled and the sound sent tingles to the pit of my stomach. "Are you a virtuous girl?" he asked.
The fuck?
"What the fuck? Let's get one thing straight. I didn't get to where I am by being a good girl. This marriage is nothing more than an alliance on paper. Don't expect me to be some kind of housewife. I will talk back and I will not hesitate to fuck you up if you act indecently!" I growled lowly as my face remained stoic.
He blew his cigarette between his lips and put it out by tossing it to the ground. He didn't seem to be affected at all by what I said or he didn't show it. He turned to face me, only looking at my face, and hummed. "I like you.”
I furrowed my eyebrows. What was I supposed to say to that?
He reached out and tried to place his hand on my thigh. I said tried because I grabbed a hold of his hand tightly, instantly twisting back, a move I learned from a young age.
He hardly flinched or even showed an ounce of pain. Instead, he smirked. The fucker smirked, and God, he looked so devilishly handsome. I let go of his hand, pushing away the feeling of the tingles I felt when our hands touched.
I observed him as he ran a hand through his hair. He certainly knew what boundaries were. "Sorry about that. I just wanted to see how you would react," he apologized casually.
I narrowed my eyes as I pushed back my hair which fluttered forward in the gentle breeze. "My reaction?" I scoffed. "I would have cut your hand off."
"Good answer," he hummed once more.
I looked at him again. "What would you do if I touched you?" I asked.
Oh fuck! My big fucking mouth.
He grinned, showcasing his perfectly white teeth. "I'd let you," he breathed.
I felt my cheeks burn up as I hoped the blush I wore couldn't be seen, then I chuckled. "Fuck, I should have seen that coming."
He chuckled as he stood up and cracked his neck. He held out an arm for me. I stood up and refused his arm by walking away from him and towards the house.
I also noticed his fine-looking guard who accompanied him. I also didn't miss how Cara's eyes lingered on him for a second too long.
I heard footsteps behind me as we all made our way inside. Upon entering the house, Father wanted to leave so we said our goodbyes and left.
Father sat in the same car as me this time too. "What do you think of him?" he asked.
"Why do you care?" I scoffed.
Fuck. I was in urgent need of sleep and I fucking couldn't stand the man. Fuck, I knew what was coming.
Father quickly reached forward and slapped me across the cheek, and I let him. The pain was nothing to me. If I fought back, the aftermath would be disastrous.
The piece of shit talked once more. "Do not speak to me like that. I am your father. You should respect me."
I looked across at him. “Forgive me. I'm just very tired… I like him, he seems decent." I looked down at my hands.
Father laughed hysterically at me. "Him decent? You really are a stupid whore. He didn't get to where he is by being decent," he mocked, his belly full of laughter.
I looked away and wished I was anywhere but here. Soon enough we arrived at a hotel: a standard five-star. We got booked in and I took in the luxurious sight of the penthouse suit I would be sleeping in for the next two days.
In two days the wedding was to happen. Two fucking days. I felt my heart race as the thought of running away crossed my mind again. Would I rather be free and not forced to marry? No, I'd be a fucking coward. I'd rather die fighting for my mafia than be known as a coward.
I lay on the bed after I changed into comfortable clothing. I glanced at the time on my phone before tossing it onto the armchair beside the bed. It was just past midnight and I was wide awake.
"Well, what did you think about him?" Cara asked me as she entered the room, knowing I wouldn't be able to sleep.
Several guards were posted outside my door as usual. I smiled as I patted the space beside me, and she walked over and sat down…
"He's a bastard just like all men are," I said as I looked up at the white ceiling.
"I saw you blush, Sienna. No man has ever done that to you. I have a good feeling about him and I can read people pretty well."
I hummed. "What about you and his guard?" I looked at her but she didn't meet my eyes.
"I knew it! You find him attractive." I grinned. I could see why. He was really handsome in a laid-back sort of way.
She smiled as she tried to brush it off by picking at invisible specks of dust on the bed. I rolled over to my side so I was facing her before speaking.
"Truthfully, he is a fine-looking man. I'd have fucked him if he wasn't… Well… you know. It's too complicated." I pursed my lips.
She smirked as she looked at her bare nails. "It's not complicated at all. You will be legally married soon so by all means fuck him."
"It's a matter of principle, Cara," I said as I ran my fingers up and down the bedsheet.
She nodded unconvincingly. "I truly want the best for you Sienna so at least try with him. Don't push him away."
EricSienna and her father left the house and I was still in a daze. Thawoman… She was no ordinary woman. There was something about her. She had power, and I felt it when she spoke. I felt her strength when she twisted my hand back. She was also quite fucking hot. Her father was a despicable man and I could sense it. He was fucking disgusting. Sienna never seemed to talk or laugh in his presence, or not as much as she did when he wasn't around her. I could feel their animosity towards each other. My parents looked at me with wide grins across their faces and I knew they wanted to talk about Sienna. "Well what did you think of her? She seems sweet," Mother commented. Sweet? I would not describe her as sweet. Oh, but I liked it when she swore. Father chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head. Sweet was not a word we used in the mafia. Fucking hell, we hardly even used it at all."She is fine," I lied effortlessly but really, she was more than just fine. Father beamed and patted my
Sienna Two fucking days. Two days of being rushed off my feet and dragged around mercilessly. I chose a wedding dress and it was quite decent but I just hated what it symbolized. This was really happening. There was nothing I could do to stop it. I didn't plead with my father. He would have beat me if I did that, and besides he was busy enjoying himself in different clubs all over the place. I glanced down at my freshly painted nails. They were in nude — which was not a color I would have chosen if the choice had been left to me — but they looked beautiful regardless. I was glad to be kept busy in a way, because I didn't have to interact with my father. He stayed far away and I was glad that he did so. Tonight was the last night before the big day and I chose to stay in bed and watch a horror movie. There was not much I wanted to do. Infact, if truth was to be told, I wanted to fall ill unexpectedly and ruin the wedding. And I knew that would surely piss my father off. I chuckled a
SiennaIf the wedding wasn't suffocating enough, I had to attend the after party. After all, it was my wedding. However, I would rather be anywhere but at Eric's house with a majority of people I wholeheartedly disliked and didn't give a shit about.I stood around, still in my wedding dress as I kept to myself. My father was deep in conversation with Eric's parents and I watched perplexed as he seemed to have laughed more than he had in the past month. The wrinkles on his forehead and around his eyes creased deeply with every smile.Sean was currently keeping me company because Eric disappeared to fuck knew where, but I hardly cared about that. Sean returned with two glasses of champagne, one of which he handed to me. I gladly took it from him and drank it in one gulp.He furrowed his eyebrows. "You good, Sienna?" he asked. I smiled as I handed my empty glass to a waiter. "I am absolutely perfect," I said as the smile on my face fell. Then I added, "I just want to leave. I am exhaust
SiennaI stared at him. He was dressed down but still looked like a god. No, a devil. I raised a brow and he chuckled deeply. "Don't tell me you forgot that I don't give a fuck. But if I were you, I would have already stabbed their eyes out," he said nonchalantly.I leaned back onto the fridge. Then I yawned as my heavy eyelids begged for sleep. Eric looked across the room at at my broken tiara as I rubbed my eyes. "Don't worry about that, I will get another one," I said as I looked down at the broken jewellery."Your father has already gone," he informed me. Fuck that man! That fucking bastard. So he left me here. He doesn't even fucking care, anyway, I thought."Well, I am leaving too," I said, sighing heavily as I rubbed my forehead. Then I started headed for the doorway but was stopped by Eric who immediately stepped in the way. "Stay the night. I insist," he said, staring directly at me. I don't have time for no games, Eric fucking Connall, I thought as I tried to read him bu
Sienna The next morning was unusual to say the least. I woke up to the smell of freshly baked pancakes and coffee. I really loved coffee just as I loved the scent. I groaned as I sat upright on the sofa and I thought of how uncomfortable it was. But I didn't expect to be taken to bed. Fuck, if he touched me, I would have killed him. "Good morning, sunshine," Eric called out from across the kitchen. I blinked hard as I stretched. Where the fuck was I? Oh right, I thought as I remembered that I was in Eric's house because he had asked me to stay here after the wedding. I stood up, ignoring him, and I headed upstairs to the bedroom I stayed in last night. Or more like didn't stay in. Upon getting dressed into a casual pair of skinny jeans and a T-shirt which I tucked in, I went downstairs. Cara was a lifesaver as she had brought me some clothing last night. But that didn't change the fact that she disappeared on me last night. When I walked back into the kitchen, I sat down on the
SiennaJust as I stood up, I saw Eric enter into the house. He looked surprised to see me but smiled nonetheless. His clothing was covered in deep crimson blood and so were his hands. I didn't know why, but I felt sudden panic when I saw the blood, which was stupid because I dealt with blood all the time."So this bit of business didn't require a gun?" I asked cheekily. He smirked as he flexed his hands, and I watched his built arms also flex as he showcased his perfectly sculpted muscles. "This bit of business was more personal," he finally replied.I nodded because I perfectly understood what he meant. But shit, I couldn't fall for him.I sighed softly before I asked, "Where is your first aid box?" As soon as I said that, his guard held a box out for me. And it was the same one Cara had an adorable little crush on. And I could even see why. "Thank you, " I replied, looking straight at him. The guard smiled politely. "I am Gabriel," he said, introducing himself. I nodded as I s
EricSienna returned to Italy for some business she had to take care of. I was a little disheartened when she did indeed leave. She was growing on me much more than I cared to admit.I also had some business that I had to take care of. Many bosses would sit on their thrones and let their advisors run their business for them, but not me. There was something about getting my hands dirty that drove me. It made me hungry for more power. That meant I had little time to myself but when I did, I made sure to enjoy it. I smiled to myself when the thought of taking Sienna out crossed my mind. Would she even want to go out with me? No. Fuck, I couldn't think like that.I knew I wasn't compassionate and loveable unlike Sean, and my heart sank at the possibility of Sienna rejecting me. Perhaps she would stay in Italy and never return to America. I wasn't good enough for her, I could never be. This marriage was nothing but a piece of paper like she said.I shook my head and headed for my basement.
EricAs I sat in my private plane, which was one of many to my name, Gabriel smiled as he sat opposite me. I sighed heavily before I said, "Spit it out." Gabriel smiled even wider. "Nothing," he said before he pursed his lips and looked elsewhere.I growled as I looked at him, knowing I could take him in a fight. Granted, it would take a while seeing as he was a fucking good fighter. "Fuck off, Gabriel." The fucker. He looked out of the window and into the starry night sky. "I wanted to ask you why we are going to Italy but then I figured it out." He looked at me as he crossed his arms. "You are going to see a particular brunette and can I just say you look good together. Give it a chance, Eric." He smiled gently.I shook my head but I didn't deny his accusation. I was indeed going to see Sienna, but I was unsure as to why. I didn't even know who she was until we were wedded. But I felt a longing to see her and to be in her presence.***When we arrived in Italy, I immediately heade
SiennaFEW YEARS LATER"Fucking hurry up, please!" I said to the maids who scrambled to set out the dining room. Only the best cutlery and crystal glasses were being used for the occasion. The table would be lined with a white cloth and red placemats. I walked around the room in a black dress which hugged my curves perfectly. Oh, shit, did we have enough wine? Why were we so last minute? Everything was just disorganised.Eric and I were hosting a dinner party and it was going to be so fucking good. We invited a lot of, mostly family. They would be here soon and I wanted things ready. As usual, Eric was avoiding the dining room entirely because he knew that I would be in a bitchy mood. I could understand wh, but Inwas not always moody. I picked up a glass in my hand, turned it over and placed it down when I saw it that was devoid of fingerprints.Suddenly, I felt two small hands grasp my legs tightly and I chuckled before I looking down. "You look very handsome, my little man," I
Sienna "Come on. Where is he? I want to meet my nephew," Sean said as he looked around in excitement. He was just like a fucking hyperactive little dog. I smiled at how excited he was. "This way. He is asleep, so shut the fuck up." I chuckled as I led both of them to the living room. Their eyes landed on Rocco and then at the bundle in his arms. I watched Sean gulp as he refrained from talking for once in his life. Arthur looked proud, and his posture relaxed noticeably. He would be my child's only grandparent, and I was grateful for that. They both walked over to see him. Rocco untucked Lorenzo slightly so that they could see his face. Their gazes lingered on him as they admired him. "He is tiny," Sean whispered."Babies tend to be small, idiot," Rocco said to him, chuckling. They were both so fucking stupid. "Congratulations again, Sienna. I hope you don't mind me saying, but it looks like he takes after Eric," Arthur said softly while turning to look at me.I nodded my head.
Sienna One month had passed now and I was enjoying life with my new little addition. Giving birth was incredibly painful, but it was definitely the best thing I had ever done in my entire life. I certainly didn't plan on getting pregnant, at least not so soon, but right now, I wouldn't wish it any other way.My body was still aching and recovering. I was resting. I hardly did any other thing, except for taking care of Lorenzo. I wanted to do everything. I wanted to feed him, change him and bathe him. I didn't want him to be given off to nannies and nurses like I was. He was mine and I would take care of him. He was so vulnerable, so small, and he needed me. I would always be there for him.So I was sitting on a sofa, in the warm but comfortable living room, breastfeeding my son. He had a ferocious appetite. I had to make sure I ate enough so that I would produce enough for him. I looked down at his beautiful head of hair. I brushed it so many times with my fingers, just feeling th
EricFucking hell. It was a boy. My son. Our son.My knees almost buckled as I watched the nurse taking him to be cleaned and weighed. My heart slowed down and I felt tears falling from my eyes. I let them fall as my heart swelled with happiness. "You did it!" I exclaimed, smiling down at Sienna. Her face held a gentle smile as she closed her eyes. The next hour was a blur. Sienna was checked over and she was now sleeping as she was very exhausted. The room was cleaned and I was now sitting on the cushioned chair beside her bed. I didn't know what time it was but I was fucking tired and wide awake at the same time.Shortly after, the nurse came back with a small, quiet bundle in her arms. In fear, I wasn't even breathing at all for a short moment. She smiled and told me about the baby's health. How he was strong and healthy. Perfect. She asked if I wanted to hold him and a single tear ran down my cheek. I nodded, unable to speak. Then she handed me the bundle, instructing me to make
Eric I was startled awake by Vincent who was yelling in my face. "What the fuck?" I yelled, my voice deep and husky. Why was this fucking ass here, and more so, why did he wake me up? "Why did you wake me?" I growled as I rubbed my heavy eyes. I squinted as I looked at the man who seemed panicked. When I looked across the bed and saw that Sienna wasn't there, my heart almost stopped."She told me to get you immediately," Vincent said, wide eyed, his throat bobbing. I didn't waste any time, pulling on my trousers and grabbing a shirt. As I followed Vincent upstairs, ducking my head slightly to avoid the low roof, I could hear some groans. I pulled on my shirt as I stepped out of the inner part of the yacht.I saw Sienna tightly holding onto the rail as she breathed jaggedly. I could see that her body was shaking. "What is it?" I asked her with worry. I had already forgotten my interrupted sleep by now. As I headed for her, I saw a small puddle of water beneath her feet, and her
EricI pulled at the collar of my shirt, trying to cool myself down, as I headed home after going out for a job. Italy was warmer than home but it was a nice change. The people here were very disciplined. I only had to mention Sienna's name and they would go white as a sheet. And all I could think was how I even manage to be so lucky to have her as my partner.I walked inside the house to see Sienna laying on the sofa with her legs raised on a pillow. I was surprised that she was resting. "And I said, ‘let the fucking bitch rot in hell,’ and apparently that was too harsh on the poor girl." She chuckled. I took a seat on the sofa opposite her, looking down at some faint bruises along my knuckles. Sienna was laughing into the phone, talking to Cara about how Rocco dumped his latest girlfriend. She ended the call after a while and looked at me sideways. "What?" she asked when I didn't speak. I was just looking at her, seeing her beauty, seeing her beneath it all. "Let's go out," I sai
Eric"I understand. Do you think I sent them?" Harrison remarked. "I did not. I do not have plans which involve killing either one of you. That would be outrageously stupid of me and tell me, do I look stupid to you?" Harrison continued. Who would willingly wager a war between two Mafias where both sides were as formidable as each other? Not Harrison, not I and not Sienna either. The Russian Mafia was different. They had been really stupid to think they would dare Sienna and I and actually go scot free?“He is telling the truth. His body language is sincere," Sienna said to me in Italian, and she looked into my eyes briefly. "I believe so too," I replied in Italian too.Harrison cleared his throat and we looked back at him once more. "We are leaving now. We appreciate the honesty," I said as I stood up. "Come on, Eric. Let's play one game of poker. Do this for old times sake," Harrison said, smirking. I knew that he was still fucking mad at the fact that I beat him the last time w
EricShe blew out a breath of air and waited. It was only a few more minutes before Edward arrived.I greeted him, happy to see my friend again. "I am very glad Gabriel was... well, not dead," Edward said with a chuckle. "I am glad about it too. Now, can we please go inside?" Sienna spoke up. Perhaps she was eager to meet the man or maybe she needed the bathroom, who knew? Edward caught her eye and glanced down at her stomach which carried the next Mafia boss. And he or she would be the greatest. "Certainly. It's nice to see you, Sienna," he said as he reached out for her hand. She shook his hand, much to Edward’s disappointment. He wanted to kiss the back of it, but that job was strictly reserved only for me."Let's go and beat the shit out of him." Sienna chuckled, before she walked up to the door in her white sneakers. Edward and I looked at each other, completely unfazed as we kept on walking up to the door. Harrison was expecting us, so there was no doubt that he would put o
Eric When I looked across the spacious private plane, I saw Sienna taking a nap. She lay sprawled across two large leather seats. I placed a thick blanket over her. She was apparently bored as fuck and fucking tired of my remarks.I couldn't believe it. When I lost Gabriel it was like a part of me was missing. I didn't realize how much he impacted my life until he was gone. He truly was my best friend, and a brother to me. Fucking hell. And Sienna brought him back. She also mended the emptiness I felt. She was my world. I looked at her as she rested. I wouldn't change her for anything.I picked up my phone and held it to my ear after I dialed a number. "That better not be the fucking bitch," Sienna mumbled with a yawn as she stretched her arms."That was a quick nap." I smiled. She looked at me, her eyes looking damn mischievous. She shook her head at me and stood up, holding onto the seat. "Edward, hello. As you are aware, we are meeting Harrison as soon as we land. I would app
