Rising hatred

My body started to shiver while my mind went blank. Samil took the note from my hand to read it. Then he started explaining something to his men. I couldn't comprehend a single word I heard. To my mind, it all turned into a dull sound. I stood motionless as if my mind needed to reset. I could only hear my heart pounding wildly.

"…andra… sandra! Kassandra!" Samil tugged my arm while trying to wake me up from bewilderment.

I gasped and looked into his eyes.

"We need to go there, now!" he shouted and then pulled my hand towards his car.

Only then did I come back to my senses. I followed him. We drove away in a hurry. I kept squeezing my hands on the seatbelt. I was so insanely nervous. I called my Grandma four times while we were on our way. She didn't answer the phone. My hands were shaking, and my eyes filled with tears. Samil grabbed my hand.

"We are almost there. My men are on the way as well." He did his best to comfort me and make me stay f
