Chapter Twenty-four

Xavier opens his eyes after long hours of sleep, he noticed that Mia is not by his side. He called her name to ask for a glass of water but no one responds, he decided to stand up to get on his own. He went to the kitchen and drink a glass of water, he looks for Mia but he didn't see her.

He checks the clock, "why she hasn't come back? What took her so long?" he asked himself. He sat on the couch and waited for Mia. Finally, the door to his apartment opens and Mia came in; Xavier walks through her.

"You're finally back," Xavier said and smiled at her. 

"ah--- y--es," she answered nervously, she changed her shoes into slippers and forcedly smiled at him.

She quickly walks to the sala, he just follows her. Mia said, "I brought you food and your medicine."

"Thank you, Mia," he said sincerely. She smiled, she went to the kitchen and get
