Chapter Twenty-seven: Truth unveil
Mia's POV
I was nervous after seeing Xavier from afar, he looks disappointed and turns his back to walk away. I chased him and tried to call him, but it seems that he didn't hear my voice, he continued walking until he disappeared from my sight.
I pulled my phone out of my jeans pocket and dialed his number but it did not ring, I decided to call Kelly to ask her boyfriend if ever he met Xavier.
"Hello? Kelly?" I greeted her.
"Hey! What's up?" she excitedly replied, "I heard that Xavier came back, have you told him the good news?"
"No," I sighed deeply, "WHAAAAT?" she shouted from the other line. I look sadly at the road and watch the cars pass by until it rains heavily: I open my mouth and explain to her what really happens.
