Chapter thirty-four

“Diego’s POV”

I finally saw you, Mia! It’s been years since I last saw your face, you are still beautiful like before but… why are you pregnant?! I thought your love for me are true and real, you betrayed me!

I grab the groceries she bought and walks before her, I was quiet and checking if she’ll speak. I heard her murmur and complains, I can’t understand what she’s saying because there’s many people hear but I can see her from my peripheral view; she’s trying to walk next to me like what she used to do when way back in high school.

I smiled when she paused, she must be tired to walk because of the baby she’s carrying inside her. I feel a bit guilty for making her tired so I stopped and I know she will snatch it from me; I purposely stop to let her take it from me and turns to her after getting it but the bag gets broken and all the things she bought fell on the ground.
