"Who's that?" Xavier asked her, she felt her heart jumped and act as if nothing happened.
"The staff called just called and told me that a friend of mine is looking for me, can I just take a look? I wanted to know if it's important," she lied.
"You can call your friend to know the reason," he said then he sips a portion of the wine in the glass.
Mia got confused and think of another reason to let him leave for a couple of minutes, "but I'm not sure who is that friend and... I'm waiting for someone to send me the files I needed for school, so please let me check. Pretty please?? " she begs, Xavier melted his heart and agree to let her go.
