The meeting

She sobbed silently as Alex massaged her feet with her head resting on a pillow.

"It's going to be alright. You don't expect Amos to act so cool with the news at first," Alex consoled while massaging her feet gently.

"He never wanted the baby, did he? Now look at all the embarrassment he's caused me. I pray Adrian doesn't see the news," she cried from the bed.

The door flung open instantly and Adrian showed up in the room, wearing his usual black suit and tie with his face brewing fire and brimstone.

"Hon..honey..," Alex cried, standing up right.

"I need you to explain this, Natasha!" He slammed, throwing his phone to the bed where she sat, wiping off her tears.

She picked up the phone and saw the news which had bursted the internet that night about the fight at the restaurant.

"Honey, we can't blame Nat for this. Amos overreacted," Alex explained calmly as she took hold of Adrian's arms.

"And why didn't you let me in? You think situations like this could be handled trouble-free?" He
