Bonus Chapter~ 32

I walked into the room tentatively as my heartbeat doubled its pace. When I was in, I closed the door and stared at the man on the hospital bed. He looked the same as the day I saw him bleeding out on the ground after we hit him.

But this time, his eyes were not closed, but open.

“Hi, I’m detective Stone. You requested to see me?” She asked him as she sat in the chair next to the bed.

“Uh, yeah.” The voice of the man was faint. He looked like he was doing okay. He was wearing a hospital gown and had a neck brace on his neck. He had a few scrapes on his face and had IV lines connected to the veins in his hand. “You’re the one, huh?”

“Yes, sir, I am.” She was formal. She glanced at me and then furrowed her brows. “Lara, would you please come and sit down?”

I forced a smile and walked to the chair next to her and sat down. The man kept staring at me so I introduced myself. “Hi, I’m Lara Zane Meyer. I’m the queen of the Werewolf Territory.”
