It was like all sound faded for a few seconds as I stood with the colorless phone in my hand. My heartbeat was loud; louder than possible. Smiles. Laughter. Joy. A lightness filled the air as Alex got out of the detective’s car. Snow fell from the sky and soon made white patches on his hair. His face was flushed and he had a smile so bright, that it could light up a dark night. First of all, thank you all for reading and following this intriguing journey of Lara. I truly appreciate you all. I too, have fallen in love with this story and would have loved to write it forever but sadly, every good thing comes to an end eventually. The bonus chapters would soon be exhausted.
