When I reached the guest room, I knocked on the door a few times but no answer came. I proceeded to knock again but I was met with the same result: no answer. I walked into the room tentatively as my heartbeat doubled its pace. When I was in, I closed the door and stared at the man on the hospital bed. He looked the same as the day I saw him bleeding out on the ground after we hit him. But this time, his eyes were not closed, but open. “Hi, I’m detective Stone. Christmas day was getting closer and closer. The holiday spirit was in the air. All the houses had decorations and people were now wearing warmer clothes. It was now four days till Christmas and for once since Liam and I hit Harper’s uncle, I felt complete peace. I too, have fallen in love with this story and would have loved to write it forever but sadly, every good thing comes to an end eventually. The bonus chapters would soon be exhausted.
