AUTHOR'S POV

"About how much I love you." He changed the topic and walked towards Zeta.

"Hmm, I love you too." She said, and he lowered his head towards her and captured her lips in a kiss which caused her swoon. His kisses always had that effect on her.

He rubbed her shoulders, " You are tense. Forget about her." He whispered and she forgot about Belinda immediately as his cologne made her light headed.

He swept away everything from the table and lifted her on top of it.

" Really?" She laughed.

" Yes, really. I have to make you forget about all that has happened. "

And that he did, loving her tenderly into the night.

Zeta woke up with a start. She saw Damien walk in with a tray on his hands and the aroma of bacon and eucalyptus tea filled the room.
