Chapter 22 The Hostage

Sarena didn't know where she was, but she knew that the Rogues had dragged her through the hallway and into the elevator.

Sarena's consciousness was lost when one of the Rogues covered her nose with a dirty handkerchief laced with a liquid, but for some reason, it didn't disappear completely.

She only felt dizzy and weak, but her consciousness was still there, even though it felt hazy and vague. The two Rogues covered their eyes with a black cloth and they didn't seem to feel relaxed, thinking that their mission to kidnap Sarena had been successful.

Then, when there was the sound of a heavy door opening and a gust of cold wind hitting Sarena's skin, she thought that they were outside, on high ground. Rooftop?

"Come on, take him aboard," said one of the Rogues. "This helicopter is rented by the hour. The costs will increase if we are slow."
