Chapter 21 The Rogues

Sarena pressed the television remote without really paying attention to what she saw on the large television flat screen in front of her.

She was restless and wondered what happened to her boss. A question bothered her. Does her boss often experience dangerous things or only recently, when she started coming and leaving in his apartment?

Sarena began to regret her decision to ask her boss for help. It seemed like she had thrown herself into an unfavorable situation, both for her and for her boss too.

Sarena took the phone and called Aby. Suddenly she felt homesick for the Gray mansion and her husband.

She didn't know her husband's telephone number and even if she did, she wasn't even sure that her husband, the Alpha, would let her call, just to ask how he was.

"Aby? How are you?" said Sarena after the call was answered.

"Hello, Ma'am, I'm fine," Aby answered lightly. "How are you, are you still busy?"
