Blair's POV

“I will wash up first,” I picked up my nightwear and towel and entered the bathroom.

“Okay,” I heard him say before I entered the bathroom.

The dinner was quite a silent, awkward, and eventful one. Everyone was trying not to make a mistake in front of I and Kayla. I acted like I didn't care but deep down, it was eating me up, I wanted to know why he did that.

I tried to remove everything from my mind, I needed to act strong like it didn't affect me. I finished having my bath and went to the room.

I met Ace sleeping on the couch with his glasses still on his eyes. I felt guilty about the way Ace folded his body on the small couch, tomorrow I will tell him to sleep on the bed while I take the couch.

I removed his glasses and noticed how handsome he was without them, he had well-defined features. Maybe if we had met under a different circumstance, I would have introduced him to one of my sisters and made Grandpa or Father set him up with a good business.
