Blair's POV

I had told Ace not to bring up the matter and he was strictly here to pretend to be my boyfriend and not to interfere in my personal affairs.

I had excused myself from the room and came to Thaila's room so Ace wouldn't ask anything.

“The way he protected you was so manly,” Thaila praised, “So where did you meet this gentleman?”

Ever since I stepped into Thaila's room, she hasn't stopped gushing over Ace. I had never lied to her and even now, I don't plan on lying to her.

I avoided looking at her eyes and said, “On the street.”

“On the street?” Thalia asked as if she hadn't heard me earlier.

“I met him on the street one random night,” A small smile stretched on my face as the event of that night played in my head.

“The streets, fair enough, I didn't know you randomly meet those kinds of guys on the street,” Thaila smiled mischievously, “So how long have you both been together? How long have you known each other?”
