“Damn it! How is this even possible? Why did you have to get involved in this, Adriel? Why?”

She screamed at the top of her voice as if Adriel could hear her right there and then.

She did not have a problem with Mr Miguel going after the Lucas family or even Emma but not Adriel.

She still believed that she could get Emma out of the way one day and have Adriel to herself.
