“Don't you dare look for me! Never try to look for me! Leave Emma's case alone else you want to experience the bitter side of this.”

“Who are you? You don't tell me what to do about my wife!”

“I have warned you. It is your choice to listen or not.”

“No, no, don't you dare. You can't do anything to Emma or I.”

Adriel's legs thrashed wildly, his feet kicking at the air as if trying to land a decisive blow. His fist clenched, punching at an unseen opponent. He gasped for air, his chest heaving up and down.

Adriel suddenly jerked up, realizing it was a dream.

“Mason already told me the whole truth. This makes me want to look for whoever it is even if he comes threatening in my dreams. My Emma is not at peace if I don't find this person who tempered with her life.”

He got out of bed and sat down by the edge of his bed trying to clear his head of the hazy thoughts and the dream he just had.

A maid walked in, interrupting his thoughts.

“Sir? Sir? Are you okay?”

She watched him mutter some wo
