Chapter eighty- eight

Katherine’s POV

"You're such a big baby!" Tyler crowed, laughing so hard I was surprised he didn't piss his pants.

"Look who's talking!" I retorted, giving him the stink eye. "You're the same person who cried like a baby when you saw a snake, rushing to come call me."

"I did not cry!" He huffs, picking up his pace.

"You did too!" I sang, taunting him and he just grunted, walking even faster.

I snickered at his antics, feeling my chest warm up with this fuzzy feeling. Pushing aside a plant that would hurt me, I called out to him. "Are you sure we're going the right way?"

"Of course!" He replied indignantly, then stopped raising an eyebrow. "Or do you have a better idea?"

I didn't so I wisely kept quiet.

The past few weeks with Tyler have been fun, he had that way of twisting every event into something of an adventure, making me laugh my ribs out.
