Ryan's POV

I watched as Scarlett walked into the bathroom, her shoulders slumped, tears staining her face.

I knew she was crying, and I felt a pang in my chest after noticing how sympathetic her mood was.

But before I could reason why I felt that way towards a she-wolf, the feeling vanished.

After she closed the door, I turned my gaze away and sighed, my eyes landing on my broken phone lying on the floor.

It wasn't her fault that it got broken, but I couldn't care. In my frustration, I knew she would face consequences for even the smallest mistakes she made. It was normal since she was living in the psychotic Alpha's mansion.

If she hadn't carried my phone to mirror herself, it wouldn't have been damaged now.

The phone was expensive, but its value meant nothing to me. I could easily replace it, and the price was inconsequential. After all, I had purchased it with some million, and I could afford hundreds of that brand without a second thought.
