I'm his distraction in his office

Scarlett's POV

When we broke away from the hug, I poured out my feelings to him. "I came with Ryan, but he left without me. The security gave me a hard time, and I feel really depressed right now," I confessed truthfully.

Jayden glanced at me as I had a sad pout on my lips. Then, he turned to the security personnel.

Suddenly, I heard the sound of chairs shifting. When I turned, I saw only the heads of the security guards behind the counter because they were all on their knees.

Jayden faced me again and inquired, "What did they do?"

"He said I'm here for charity help since I don't have an ID, and he sent me out before you came in," I explained. Jayden's face contorted in a frown.

"Who sent you out?" he asked, and I turned to the security personnel. The insolent man had a pleading look on his face, but he avoided eye contact with me.

I walked back to him and pointed, while Jayden nodded in understanding.

"Come out," Jayden ordered, and the security guard immediately stood up and walked
