Run away

Arielle's POV

I looked around the airport making sure that i was not followed and kept my ticket close to me while dragging my luggage to the check-in counter. I was feeling anxious while being cautious about my surroundings. I didn't want to be caught. Not yet. I have so many things that i want to do in my life. I don't want to be prisoned my whole life. I completed the check-in and finally released the breath i was holding after i settled down in my plane seat and started to relax.

Finally! I get to have my freedom even if it was for a while! I decided to take my phone out and switch it on to see the damage i have made in my wake and winced when i saw 50 missed call notifications and 20 messages from my family members. Sigh! I think i need to make an explanation before my Dad and brothers go berserk and turn the world upside down to find me. I dialled my Mom first as i knew that she would be the most worried.

It didn't even complete the first ring when she answered "Arielle! Where have you been? Do you have any idea how worried sick i was all this time? You have no idea what ran throguh my mind! I had all sorts of scary images running through me! Tell me you are okay! Tell me that you haven't been kidnapped and this is not a ransom call that i am getting!"

"Mom don't worry! I am fine! Besides if i was kidnapped and this is a ransom call you wouldn't be able to finish half of the things you were babbling on before the kidnapper gets annoyed and shoot me!" I tried to make a joke to lighten the situation a bit.

"How can you be joking at a moment like this?" Wherever you are right now you better be on your way home. If not I cannot help you with what your Dad and brothers are planning for you at the moment." I winced slightly at that. "I'm sorry mom. But i can't tell you where i am right now. But I need a little space at the moment."

I could hear her sigh from the other side. "Arielle you know that this was coming. This was decided the moment you were born into our family. Even if you run away right now it's inevitable." 

"I know that it is inevitable and that is why i want to have a bit of space. I have been restricted my whole life from living it to the full cause of my family. If i am to be sold off to make a business relationship stronger, then the least you could do is let me live my life the way i want until I have to be back in time for my engagement" i said with a bit of anger in my voice.

"We are not selling you off to anyone! How can you say that?" I could hear the hurt in her voice. "I know that it is not your choice but this is for your own good. We have known the Armstrongs for as long as your Dad and I have been married. So we trust them to take good care of you and treat you like royalty."

"If they have known our family for that long, how come i have never met my fiance in my whole life before?" 

"I can't explain this to you, but know that there's a good reason for it. They are as trustable as our family"

I could hear the airhostess announcing about departure and to switch off all electronic devices and i guess I was not the only one who heard it. "Arielle are you in a plane?" She asked incredulously.

"I'm sorry mom but I have to go now. Please don't be worried. I will come back in a month. Tell Dad and my brothers not to search for me and that I know what I have to do to keep the name of our family. I will come back in a month ready to be engaged to whoever it is that you'll have picked out for me! Take care of yourself and Dad! Bye Mom!" I said in a rush.

"Arielle Wilson!!!! Don't you dare hang up!!" I heard her screaming as I disconnected the line. 

I sighed and closed my eyes and switched off my phone to relax.

That's me! Arielle Wilson! The only daughter of Wilson Industries and the baby of the family. 24 years old and is going to be engaged to a 2nd generation heir. I knew my whole life that i would be arranged into a marriage but I expected to atleast be introduced to the person and fall in love with him before my engagement. But no, I go home after my university graduation and I am told that my engagement would be in a month from now and that I would meet my future fiance on the day before my engagement. How absurd is that!!?

I plugged on the headset and tried not to think about what my future holds for me and tried to get some sleep for the rest of the flight.

Xander's POV

The morning rays of sunshine woke me from my sleep and I looked around trying to remember what happened and had a few flashes of last night. I remember closing off a deal and that we were ambushed right after that. I remember kicking their asses and going to our club to celebrate our victory and a successful deal. I heard a groan to my left and looked to my side to see a naked woman. Well I definitely remember that happening! Whoever this woman is she definitely knows how to have mind blowing sex.

I got up and went to the washroom to freshen up and came out afterwards with my towel hanging from my hips. The woman was just waking up by now and was slowly starting to rise from the bed. 

She opened her eyes and saw me standing and gave me a sexy smile which made me want to get back in bed with her. "Why are you up so early Xander? And why are you covering yourself with a towel. Tch! You shouldn't have even bothered with showering cause I plan to devour you just like how we did over and over last night!" She purred and and crawled towards me on the bed not a bit shameful of her nudity. Well she doesn't have to be when she has great assets to showcase out of which I don't know how many are real though.

I smirked knowing fully well what type of a woman she was "Sorry sweetheart but playtime is over. I don't have repeat sex with the same person so it's time that you pack up and leave. 

She pouted and stood up coming near me in all her naked glory and started running her perfectly maincured nail on my chest and brushed her breasts on my chest which I have to admit did make me turn on slightly but at the same time annoyed. "Are you sure about that?" She asked with a playful wink.

I caught her wrist and brought her closer to me and dipped my head near her ear and whispered, "If you don't want to get on the bad side of me, I suggest you start getting dressed and leaving cause I am not known to have patience" and gave her a slow lick on her earlobe and released her to see her terrified expression and left her standing with a smirk and said "I expect you to be gone when I'm done with breakfast".

I went in to the living room of the suite which I paid for the night and started having the breakfast which I assumed my left hand man/cousin to have ordered in and brought. 

I picked up my cell and dialled his number. "Xander!!! I hope you enjoyed last night!" I could practically see him grinning ear to year and rolled my eyes. "You know how it gets Shawn, she's already on her way out" I told him as i saw the girl leaving the room in a hast from my side view.

"Seriously Xander!?" He groaned. "I am soon going to run out of women to find for your one night stands. Please think of me and keep them for a few days huh?" he asked pleadingly.

"You know why I don't want to do that don't you? I hate to have a constant in my life other than my family which includes you guys and my organization. And what happens after a few days of sex? They will only get clingy and demanding. I don't want unnecessary drama." I said while eating my freshly cooked bacon and eggs. 

"One day Xander, you will find a person that you want as a constant in your life even if you like it or not"

"You know that there's never going to be anyone like that again right? Once is enough to last for a lifetime" I said not wanting to remember the past.

I heard him sigh and can imagine him pinching the bridge of his nose with frustration and I could feel more preaching coming from him before I heard a girl calling out for him from the distant. "I'm just coming Casey, Xander I gotta go. Call me when you get back to the organization. We have business to discuss today."

"Oi, how dare you order me around like i'm the one working for you?" I asked with one eyebrow up although he can't see me.

I heard his chuckle before he said "I know that you love me bro, i'll see you soon then. Bye!" And I heard the line get disconnected.

"Ugh that rat! He always gets the last word. He's lucky that he's my cousin"

Arielle's POV

I dragged my luggage out of the airport and stood outside with a smile on my face. Japan here i come! My home for the next month. 

I hailed a cab and gave the address of the place that i want to go to. Finally arriving after a half an hour cab ride i gave the money and walked into the apartment complex and went into the apartment of my favourite cousin and rang the doorbell.

The door sprang open and the blonde girl with cat eyes looked at me in surprise then broke into a huge smile "Arielle~~!!" She squealed and hugged me "Casey~~!" I squealed and hugged her back.

Let the adventure begin!
