108 #I can't remember

I groan in pain as I open my eyes, feeling the sharp ache radiating through my body. I struggled to sit up, my head pounding with each movement.

“Don’t get up...” I heard a similar voice say, and I felt a gentle hand on my shoulder. “Thank God you are awake,” the voice continued, relief evident in the tone. “You don’t know how worried we all were about you.”

I moved to touch my head and felt a sharp pain shoot through my body. “What happened?” I turn my head to Sarah, who is sitting beside me, concern etched on her face. “Your body took a toll because of you using so much power,” she explained softly. “You pushed yourself too hard, and now you need to rest and recover.”

I shook my head, my head spinning with confusion. “I don’t remember using any power,” I mumbled, trying to piece together the events leading up to my collapse.

Sarah sighed, her eyes filled with worry. “I will call Andrew; he was so worried about you. He will be happy to know you’re awake.” She reached for her phone, h
