I ran as fast as I could to Ramon and saved Luna from him, but it was too late.

“Stop,” Ramon said, changing in his human form before my eyes. His grasp on Luna is still as tight as ever. “Go away; I have nothing to do with you,” he growled, his eyes filled with anger and grief.

“Leave her, and I will let you live,” I pleaded, trying to reason with him. But his eyes darkened, and he tightened his grip on Luna, refusing to let her go. “Leave her. Never. She is the one who took my Serena life. I was a fool to have waited all these years for her powers to awaken. I should have killed her when I had the chance.” Ramon finished, his voice dripping with malice.

“Why did you wait so long, then? If you truly wanted revenge, you would have acted sooner,” I retorted, trying to engage him in conversation and distract him so I could free my Luna from his grasp.

“You know nothing; I have tried to kill her many times before, but she is always protected by Leonardo or one of his men,” he sneered. “B
